Recipes: Mozzarella-and-Tomato Twosome

6 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
1 pound fresh mozzarella, cut into thin slices
About 24 fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
On a large platter, arrange tomatoes, mazzarello, and basil leaves alternately. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let stand for at least 15 minutes before serving. Serve with crusty bread. Makes eight to ten servings.
