Forget those fussy old makeup methods.... A little abbreviated beauty business, and you'll be out of the house and looking fabulous in five minutes flat!
0:30
MOISTURIZE
Using upward strokes, smooth on a light moisturizer with a low SPF (like Neutrogena Moisture, SPF 5); let set for a few seconds. If you'll be spending the dayoutside, substitute a heavy-duty sun block.
1:30
COVER UP
With a cover-up stick (try Cover Girl MoistureWear Concealer), dot under eye along cheekbone in a U shape and cover any blemishes. Let concealer set, then blend well.
2:00
TAKE A POWDER
Using an oversize brush, lightly dust face with translucent powder (a good choice: Bonne Bell Translucent Loose Powder) to absOrb excess oil and give skin an even tone.
3:00
BLUSH ON
With a thick blush brush, sweep color across cheekbone, down ridge of nose, across temple, and over eyelid (pass on the colorful eye shadow - it takes too much time to apply); blend well.
3:45
BROW KNOW-HOW
Dip an eyebrow brush into a light-brown eye shadow, and stroke through brows. (An eyebrow brush fills in brows better than an eyebrow pencil.)
4:15
LASH OUT
Lightly coat the outer corner of the upper and lower lashes with a soft-brown mascara, like Lancôme Keracils Mascara with Keratin in Brown (brown mascara is more mistake-proof than black).
4:45
QUICK LIPS
Apply a clear lip gloss with your finger. Outline lips with a brownish-pink pencil, then fill in. Blot with tissue.
5:00
FINAL FIX-UP
Before you dash, a double check: Use a cotton swab to remove smudged mascara and even out lipline. Try a cotton ball to remove excess blush (if your blush is really heavy, tone it down with translucent powder).
