Your Answers To Questions About Make up & Fashion

I've noticed a lot of different lipstick colors lately and I'd like to update my makeup. Can you tell me what colors are in? What else can I do to emphasize thin lips?

Lipstick is an essential this year-a warm palette of earth tones complements the look in fashion. Depending on your skin type, everything from apricots and satiny mochas to rich cabernets add drama. Pinks are also big news with colors ranging from transluscent hues to vivid, high-impact shades. Remember, a great color on your lips keeps you from looking washed out. To make lips fuller, outline them just outside the natural lip line with a pencil that's one shade darker than your lipstick. Then completely color /our lips for long-lasting color.

I am twenty-two years old and have just started a job that requires a lot of travel. My complexion has never been great and being on the road seems to have made things worse. Help!

My best suggestion, whether you're on the road or not, is a regular steam treatment for your face. Try Epi-Sauna, the mini facial steamer that's great for traveling because it folds closed to only 3.5"! Frequent steaming opens your pores, allowing you to remove makeup and impurities thoroughly. Best of all, it'll help improve your complexion and give it a healthy glow.

I've just been  accepted at the University of Pennsylvania. I was told there are a lot of events that require getting somewhat dressed up and I'm not really sure what clothes I should take. Can you suggest something?

Consider taking several basic pieces in strong neutrals like taupe, navy and black. Start with a black knit dress that can be layered over pants or jeans and worn with boots for casual wear. For a dressier evening out, you can pair the dress with heels and a pretty wool jacket in berry or amber. Finish it off with coordinated accessories like jewelry and a terrific belt. Now you've got a polished nighttime look. Good luck at school!

I have just turned thirteen and I think I'm ready to shave my legs. I've heard a lot about Epilady. Is it safe to use at my age?

Absolutely. Epilady removes hair safely from the root. So not only is it safe to use at any age, but it's better for your legs. Just ask your mom! You'll never have any cuts, scrapes or scars from razors. Plus, hair grows back weeks later-softer and finer. With Epilady, you won't ever have to feel self-conscious about unwanted hair. And your legs will stay smooth and silky for weeks.
