 Bob Weinstein, co-chairman of the Weinstein Co., knows this remake of a Japanese horror hit doesn't come with Superman Returns-size pre-release buzz, but he's completely fine playing the underdog. ''The same thing happened with Scary Movie. One $42 million opening weekend later, they go, Oh. ''Pulse unleashes a computer virus that allows malevolent spirits to assault the living (Bell and Somerhalder) through computers or cell phones.
