The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
|
The sound of screeching tires is almost the only holdover from the first two films (Paul Walker joins Vin Diesel in the Furious ejector seat), so now a rebellious American (Friday Night Lights' Black) moves to Japan and is sucked into the dangerous world of drift racing-where drivers leave traction behind.
"At first I was like, 'You're basing a whole movie on this underground scene?'" says director Lin (Annapolis). "But we found drifting so cinematic-l wanted to bring a sense of awe to this type of action." (June 16)
