Twitter has confirmed that it is working on a edit button that will allow users to modify their messages after they have been shared. The announcement came after Tesla boss Elon Musk, the new board member of the social media company, asked his followers in a Twitter poll if they wanted the feature.
Many users have long wanted a fix button, but there are concerns about how to implement it. Twitter said it will begin testing the idea in the coming months.
The social media company’s communications team wrote in the message, “Now everyone is asking… yes, we’ve been working on a fix feature since last year.”
