While working as fashion illustrator and designer and running a small business in Sydney, Debra Cramb trained as an animator before beginning her career as an “inbetweener” for Hanna Barbera TV Productions.
When the Walt Disney Company started up productions in Sydney in 1988, Cramb became an assistant animator on such TV series as “Winnie the Pooh,” “Darkwing Duck,” “Goof Troop,” “Timon and Pumbaa” and “Aladdin.” She went on to become inbetweening department supervisor and a member of the senior management team at the Sydney studio.
As training and recruitment manager for DTSA, Cramb initiated a worldwide recruitment campaign to discover outstanding overseas talent to join Disney's rapidly expanding Sydney presence. She worked within the company to implement department training and general studio development programs to help cultivate widespread talent growth within the studio.
Cramb began working in production by assisting Steve Trenbirth. director of “The Jungle Book 2.” In addition to “Bambi II,” she has produced “Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers” and is currently in production on “Cinderella III.”
