US Vice President Mike Pence canceled his trip to the state of New Hampshire at the last minute caused question marks, while the White House said there was no emergency. On the other hand, Russian President Vladimir Putin canceled the program because of the fire that killed 14 Russian sailors on nuclear submarine.
US Vice President Pence canceled his trip to New Hampshire at the last minute and stayed in Washington. Pence spokeswoman Alyssa Farah made a statement on her Twitter account after American media reported “Pence was summoned to the White House for an urgent meeting”.
Farah said: “There has been a situation that requires the Vice President to remain in Washington. There is no emergency. He will reschedule his visit to New Hampshire as soon as possible.”
“The issue is not about the health status of the President or the Vice President. It is not about national security,” a senior US official told the American media.
