Despite her marital woes, Jennifer Lopez celebrated her birthday Miami style. According to People magazine, the star – who turned 42 on Sunday – spent the weekend hitting the town.
On Saturday night, J.Lo was spotted at Scott Conant’s restaurant, Scarpetta, at the Fontainebleau hotel with a group of 16 people, which included her mother, sister and various members of her entourage.
“Jennifer looked radiant in a purple and silver evening dress,” a source told the mag. “And when they brought out her birthday cake after the meal, she began to sing. She was very happy. The whole group had a blast, staying for hours. They closed down the restaurant.”
The group dined on Italian delicacies, including spaghetti with tomato and basil and foie gras ravioli.
Earlier on Saturday, J.Lo was seen shopping near South Beach, where she hit up Hermes, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Pucci.
On Friday, the newly single-star, who announced her split from husband Marc Anthony earlier this month, had a pre-birthday bash at Miami’s Wine Cellar of the Forge.
While dining with friends and family, a source said J.Lo “was chatty and charming.”
