Birth Name: Lisa Olivia Munn
Date of Birth: July 3, 1980
Birth Place: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
Height: 5′ 4″ (1,63 m)

Lisa Olivia Munn (born July 3, 1980), known professionally as Olivia Munn, is an American actress and model. She was credited as Lisa Munn in her early career, but since 2006, she has used the name Olivia Munn both personally and professionally.

Munn began her professional career in television journalism before becoming an actress. In 2006, Munn starred as Mily Acuna in the series Beyond the Break. She co-hosted Attack of the Show! from 2006 to 2010 and was a correspondent on The Daily Show from 2010 to 2011. Munn has also had supporting roles in various films and television series since 2004. She appeared in the 2016 film X-Men: Apocalypse as Psylocke.

After graduating, she became an intern at the NBC affiliate in Tulsa, and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. In 2004, Munn interned at Fox Sports Net and worked as a sideline reporter for college football and women’s basketball. She has gone on to say that she disliked the experience, explaining “I was trying to be something I wasn’t, and that made me really uncomfortable on live TV.”

Soon after she moved to Los Angeles, Munn was cast in a small role in the straight to video horror film Scarecrow Gone Wild. She appeared in rock band Zebrahead’s video for their song “Hello Tomorrow” as the love interest of the lead singer Justin Mauriello. Munn also appeared in National Lampoon’s Strip Poker, which was filmed at the Hedonism II nudist resort in Negril, Jamaica, with Kato Kaelin. The films aired on DirecTV and InDemand Pay Per View.

In late 2005, Munn began her role as Mily Acuna, a teen surfer, over two seasons of the TV drama Beyond the Break on The N network. She enjoys surfing and continues to practice the sport. She originally auditioned for the part of Kai, but the producers wanted a “local girl”. She also appeared in the film The Road to Canyon Lake.

In 2006, Munn moved on to the G4 network, where she began co-hosting Attack of the Show! with Kevin Pereira on April 10. She replaced departing host Sarah Lane. The network, devoted to the world of video games and the video game lifestyle, was at first hesitant to hire Munn. Although she admits video games were her “weak point”, she was confident in her technical knowledge.

On the show, Munn was featured with journalist Anna David in a segment called “In Your Pants”, which deals with sex and relationship questions from viewers. While working on Attack of the Show!, Munn hosted Formula D, a now defunct program about American drift racing, and an online podcast called Around the Net (formerly known as The Daily Nut), for G4. Munn left Attack of the Show! in December 2010 and was replaced by Candace Bailey.

Munn appeared in the Rob Schneider film Big Stan (2007). She played Schneider’s character’s receptionist Maria. Munn had a significant role in the horror film Insanitarium in which she played a nurse at an insane asylum. She had roles in the films Date Night (2010) and Iron Man 2 (2010). Robert Downey, Jr. praised Munn for her improvisation skills and led the crew in a round of applause.

Munn hosted Microsoft’s Bing-a-thon, an advertisement on Hulu for the Microsoft search-engine Bing, on June 8, 2009, alongside Jason Sudeikis. Munn appeared in ABC Family’s Greek, portraying Cappie’s love interest, Lana. In May 2010, NBC announced that Munn would star in the upcoming television series Perfect Couples. The half-hour romantic comedy premiered on January 20, 2011. The show was cancelled before it completed its first season run.

On June 3, 2010, Munn debuted in her new role as a correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. Her hiring prompted criticism from Irin Carmon of Jezebel, who questioned Munn’s credentials and accused the show’s production of sexism in hiring Munn, whom Carmon characterized as a sex symbol. Carmon saw Munn’s hiring as a perpetuation of the show production office’s history as a male-dominated atmosphere marginalizing and alienating to women.

A group of thirty-two female Daily Show production staff members condemned Carmon’s piece as inaccurate and misinformed, as did Munn herself in an interview, in which she stated that Carmon’s assertion was an insult both to her and to the rest of the Daily Show staff. She went on to appear in 16 more episodes as a correspondent, with TV Guide naming as her signature segment “Tiger Mothering”, in which she mocked the high expectations of Chinese mothers, in part by interviewing her own mother. Her last episode as a correspondent aired September 2, 2011. She returned for a brief segment in host Jon Stewart’s final show on August 6, 2015.

In 2010, Munn guest-starred in NBC’s Chuck as a CIA agent. In 2011, Munn appeared in the comedy film I Don’t Know How She Does It (2011) as Momo. In 2012, Munn had a leading role in The Babymakers, a minor role in Freeloaders, and appeared in Magic Mike, directed by Steven Soderbergh. She played Sloan Sabbith on HBO’s The Newsroom. She also appeared as Angie, Nick’s stripper girlfriend, in three episodes in season 2 of FOX’s New Girl.

Munn served as a correspondent in “True Colors”, the May 12, 2014 episode of the Showtime documentary TV series Years of Living Dangerously, in which she interviewed Washington State Governor Jay Inslee about his efforts to reduce CO2 emissions in his home state. As of June 2014 Munn has been hired as the main promoter of Proactiv acne cleanser products starring in several commercials and one informercial for the product. The commercials show Munn experiencing acne herself. Since January 2015, she has been the voice of the character Phoebe Callisto in the Disney Junior animated series Miles from Tomorrowland.

Jennifer Lawrence Through The Years

Jennifer Lawrence Through The Years

Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is best known for playing Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games (2012), Tiffany Maxwell in Silver Linings Playbook (2012), and Rosalyn Rosenfeld in American Hustle (2013).

Jennifer Shrader Lawrence was born on August 15, 1990 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Karen (Koch), who manages a children’s camp, and Gary Lawrence, who works in construction. She has two older brothers, Ben and Blaine, and has English, German, Irish, and Scottish ancestry.

Before Jennifer became an actress, she was involved in cheer-leading, field hockey, softball, and modeling, none of which she held a passion for. Her career began when she traveled to Manhattan at the age of 14. After conducting her first cold read, agents told her mother that “it was the best cold read by a 14- year-old they had ever heard”, and tried to convince her mother that she needed to spend the summer in Manhattan.

Jennifer Lawrence Through The Years

After leaving the agency, Jen was spotted by an agent in the midst of shooting an H&M ad and asked to take her picture. The next day, that agent followed up with her and invited her to the studio for a cold read audition. Again, the agents were highly impressed and strongly urged her mother to allow her to spend the summer in New York City. As fate would have it, she did, and subsequently appeared in commercials such as MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16” and played a role in the movie, The Devil You Know (2013).

Shortly thereafter, her career forced her and her family to move to Los Angeles, where she was cast in the TBS sitcom The Bill Engvall Show (2007), and in smaller movies like The Poker House (2008) and The Burning Plain (2008).

Her big break came when she played Ree in Gerçegin Parçalari (2010), which landed her Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations. Shortly thereafter, she secured the role of Mystique in franchise reboot X-Men: The First Class (2011), which went on to be a hit in Summer 2011. Around this time, Lawrence scored the role of a lifetime when she was cast as Katniss Everdeen in the big-screen adaptation of literary sensation The Hunger Games (2012). That went on to become one of the highest-grossing movies ever with over $407 million at the domestic box office, and instantly propelled Lawrence to the A-list among young actors / actresses.

Jennifer Lawrence Through The Years

Three Hunger Games sequels are scheduled for release in November 2013, 2014, and 2015, with Lawrence reprising her role at least for the first one (Açlik Oyunlari: Atesi Yakalamak (2013)). In 2012 the romantic comedy Silver Linings Playbook earned her the Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, Satellite Award and the Independent Spirit Award for Best Actress, amongst other accolades, making her the youngest person ever to be nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Actress and the second-youngest Best Actress winner

Lawrence can also be seen in The Beaver (2011), Like Crazy (2011), House at the End of the Street (2012), and American Hustle (2013). She played the title role, Joy Mangano, in the 2015 David O. Russell film Joy (2015).

Johnny Depp’s Romantic History: Amber Heard, Winona Ryder, Kate Moss, Vanessa Paradis, and More

Johnny Depp’s Romantic History: Amber Heard, Winona Ryder, Kate Moss, Vanessa Paradis, and More

Team Wino Forever! Before his rocky marriage to Amber Heard made headlines, Johnny Depp went through a slew of high-profie relationships and broken engagements to such famous women as Winona Ryder and Jennifer Grey. During his 30-plus years in the spotlight, he romanced several costars and much-younger ladies.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 52, is currently going through a messy split with the Danish Girl actress, 30, who filed for divorce on Monday, May 23, after 15 months of marriage. Depp reportedly asked the judge to deny her claim for spousal support. And a few days later, Heard allegedly filed a domestic violence restraining order against Depp and brought a photo of her bruised face to court as evidence, according to TMZ. A source tells Us Weekly the restraining order was granted immediately because the amount of evidence was overwhelming.

Here’s a look back at the A-lister actor’s most famous — and infamous relationships.

Lori Anne Allison

Before Heard was even born, Depp tied the knot for the first time with makeup artist Lori Anne Allison in 1983. The future superstar was just 20 years old at the time, and Allison was the sister of one of his bandmates. The couple divorced two years later in 1985, but the marriage did give Depp his first big break in Hollywood. Allison’s friendship with Nicolas Cage helped him land his first major acting gig in 1984’s horror classic, A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Johnny Depp’s Romantic History: Amber Heard, Winona Ryder, Kate Moss, Vanessa Paradis, and More

Sherilyn Fenn

Depp met future Twin Peaks actress Sherilyn Fenn on the set of the 1985 student film Dummies. She even made an appearance on a 1987 episode of Depp’s TV show, 21 Jump Street. They were reportedly engaged, but went their separate ways after three and a half years.

Jennifer Grey

Another broken engagement. The Golden Globe nominee popped the question to the Dirty Dancing star in the late ‘80s, but the couple called off the wedding shortly after.

Winona Ryder

The actor-producer met Winona Ryder for the first time at the premiere for 1989’s Great Balls of Fire! when the actress was only 17. In 1990, they costarred in Edward Scissorhands, and Depp later proposed to Ryder. He was so in love that he opted for a “Winona Forever” tattooed on his arm. When they called it quits in 1993, he famously altered it to say “Wino Forever,” as it still reads today. Ryder recalled the end of their relationship in an interview with Elle UK in 2009 and called it “my first real breakup, the first heartbreak.”

Kate Moss

Fashionable couple! Depp first hooked up with the then 20-year-old supermodel in 1994. During their romance, the Black Mass star was arrested for allegedly trashing a hotel room at the Mark Hotel in NYC. When police entered, they reportedly found the couple sitting amid debris.

“There’s nobody that’s ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a bit,” Moss told Vanity Fair in 2012 of their relationship and subsequent breakup in 1998. “Like if I said, ‘What do I do?,’ he’d tell me. And that’s what I missed when I left. I really lost the gauge of somebody I could trust. Nightmare. Years and years of crying. Oh, the tears!”

Ellen Barkin

Always an age difference. Depp briefly dated Ellen Barkin, who is 9 years older than the actor, in 1994, and the short-lived couple made several red carpet appearances together.

Vanessa Paradis

His longest love! Depp and French model, actress and singer Vanessa Paradis were together for 14 years. Although the pair never married, they share daughter Lily-Rose, 17, and son Jack, 14. In 2010, Depp explained to Extra why they never walked down the aisle. “I never found myself needing that piece of paper,” he said. “Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. You don’t need somebody to say, okay you’re married. … If Vanessa wanted to get hitched, why not. But the thing is, I’d be so scared of ruining her last name. She’s got such a good last name.”

He opened up to Rolling Stone about the split in 2013. “It wasn’t easy on [Paradis]. It wasn’t easy on me. It wasn’t easy on the kids,” he said. “It doesn’t stop the fact that you care for that person, and they’re the mother of your kids, and you’ll always know each other, and you’re always gonna be in each other’s lives because of those kids. You might as well make the best of it.”

Washington and friends snapped a smiling group pic to kick off the night before piling into an elevator (where they posed for another cute shot) to catch a bite at Mr Chow at Caesar’s Palace.

Washington, who shared a colorful snapshot of Lopez’s bombastic live performance, went backstage after the show where she posed for press photos with the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer.

The 39-year-old actress and her squad snapped some pics together after the show, where Washington flaunted her growing baby bump in her sultry, elegant black gown.

Washington then kicked things up a notch, posing atop one of the show’s main set pieces — a giant, mirrored crescent moon.

“Tonight I got to go from The Bronx to the moon and then back again,” Washington captioned the stunning snap. “Thank you @jlo… Good night Vegas.”

The connection between Washington and Lopez goes way back — even before they were both famous! The Emmy-nominated star revealed in 2014 that both she and Jennifer Lopez grew up in the Bronx and even went to the same local Boys & Girls Club.

It was there that the future American Idol judge and pop superstar taught her a few dance moves. For more on their surprising intersecting past relationship, check out the video below.

Emily Blunt to star in Mary Poppins Returns

Emily Blunt to star in Mary Poppins Returns

It’s official! Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda will star together in Disney’s upcoming Mary Poppins live-action adaptation, Mary Poppins Returns.

Blunt has been cast as Mary Poppins and Miranda will play a new character, a street lamplighter named Jack. The film will take place in Depression-era London (when the books were originally written) and will follow a now-grown Jane and Michael Banks along with Michael’s three children. After suffering a personal loss, the family is visited by Mary Poppins and Jack who help them rediscover the joys and excitement within the magic of life.

While some people were a bit skeptical of the new film, this casting could change their minds. In fact, here are 8 reasons Blunt and Miranda are the perfect pair for Mary Poppins Returns.

Emily Blunt to star in Mary Poppins Returns

About Marry Poppins Returns

Disney is bringing Mary Poppins back to the big screen. No, she isn’t leaving the infamous Disney vault. The magical nanny will come back to life in a new, original, live-action adaptation that will be directed by Into the Woods’ Rob Marshall.

The updated version will take place during the 1920s Depression era in London, which is about 20 years after Disney’s classic Mary Poppins starring Julie Andrews. While the Disney classic focused on the first installment of author P.L. Travers’ eight-book series, this movie, which is not a sequel, will focus on Mary’s further adventures with the Banks family.

But you can’t just bring a classic film back to life without some serious backlash. Twitter is absolutely pissed about the idea of Disney messing with Andrews’ famous character. People were furious about Jumanji, but those people had nothing on what’s being said about Disney’s billionth live-action film. Haven’t the people in Burbank, Calif., ever heard the expression, “Don’t fix what isn’t broken”??

Sienna Miller reveals she still cares about Jude Law “eEnormously”

Sienna Miller reveals she still cares about Jude Law "eEnormously"

It’s been over a decade since she was first engaged to Jude Law, but the torrid years that followed have not waned Sienna Miller’s feelings for her former beau.

As the Hollywood story goes, the Golden Globe nominee and her Alfie co-star were on the road to marriage in 2004, but a year after their Christmas engagement, Law publicly apologized to the actress after reports surfaced that he had been having an affair with his nanny. The couple subsequently split in 2006. The two tried to rekindle their romance in 2009, only to break up again by 2011.

Today, Miller says she doesn’t see her past beau “that much,” but told PORTER magazine, “I care about him enormously.”

Nearly a year ago, the star broke off her engagement to actor Tom Sturridge, whom she had been dating since 2011 and with whom she shares her only child, 3-year-old daughter Marlowe Sturridge. While the 34-year-old calls her past boyfriends, including Law and Sturridge, “a motley crew,” she does recognize the trait that ties them all together.

Sienna Miller reveals she still cares about Jude Law "eEnormously"

“I like intelligence,” she continued to the magazine. “It’s the only thing I’ve ever been attracted to. People who aren’t clever enough fall by the wayside. They’re a motley crew my ex-boyfriends, if you lined them up, it would be strange. I don’t care about that [looks], but you know, within limits… Someone staggeringly beautiful and thick is totally ugly to me. It sounds silly but I like bookish academics who are slightly odd, and borderline, you know, on the spectrum.”

In the meantime, the acclaimed star has a packed schedule of new films, one of which is taking her to New York City for the fall to live and raise her daughter. In regard to the possibility of having more children, Miller is definitely interested.

“I would love more,” she admitted to the magazine. “I’m suddenly feeling very broody for more babies, and my daughter’s desperate to have a sibling.”

In fact, Miller is more in tune with herself and her decisions after an intense recent round of therapy. According to the star, all the noise that was once in her head is now gone.

“I just got to a point where…I couldn’t dig myself out, I couldn’t make decisions, I felt pretty assaulted by life and not in control,” she revealed. “I think as you get older you have to really cultivate your mind and have a deep understanding of self, otherwise you just become lonely and isolated and unsatisfied and unfulfilled, and however your perfect little life looks on paper, there will be a sense of unfulfillment if you haven’t explored the nature, the very depths of who you are.”

Perhaps it’s that kind of courage that has caused co-star Bradley Cooper to describe her as a little Napoleon. “I stand up for myself,” she said. “That’s what he’s referring to.”

Amber Heard Really Blackmailed Johnny Depp?

Amber Heard Really Blackmailed Johnny Depp?

Amber Heard’s lawyer is slamming an accusation that the actress is blackmailing her estranged husband Johnny Depp.

Attorney Peter Sample told The Wrap Monday that the “allegations against Ms. Heard are absolutely and unequivocally false.” The claim that she is blackmailing Johnny “has no basis in reality and is nothing but the typical celebrity muckraking for profit.” The lawyer also told the publication that the claims against Amber are defamatory and “outrageous.”

In case you missed it, comedian Doug Stanhope penned a column that was posted on The Wrap Sunday where he voiced his support for his friend Johnny. In the lengthy post, Doug claimed that “Amber was now going to leave him, threatening to lie about him publicly in any and every possible duplicitous way if he didn’t agree to her terms. Blackmail is what I would imagine other people might put it, including the manner in which he is now being vilified.”

Amber Heard Really Blackmailed Johnny Depp?

The column, however, comes just two days after Amber was granted a domestic violence restraining order against her soon-to-be ex-husband after alleging abuse and showing up to a Los Angeles courtroom with a visible bruise on her face. In court documents obtained by E! News, Amber also alleged that “during the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me.”

While Johnny has not directly addressed the accusations made by Amber, his rep released a statement shortly after the couple filed for divorce. “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life,” Johnny’s rep told E! News. “Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”

As for Amber, a source close to the model recently provided a glimpse into how she is doing as the divorce drama continues. “This has been incredibly upsetting for Amber but she knows she is doing the right thing,” our source shared with E! News. “It has been very traumatic for her to finally speak out, but she needs to do what she can to protect herself.”

Kristen Stewart talks about her sexuality and LGBT movement

Kristen Stewart talks about her sexuality and LGBT movement

Kristen Stewart doesn’t need to put a label on her sexuality to know who she is.

The Café Society actress Kristen Stewart opens up about why she chooses to remain vague about her sexual orientation in the debut issue of Variety Magazine’s new redesigned format.

“Me not defining it right now is the whole basis of what I’m about,” she tells the mag. “If you don’t get it, I don’t have time for you.”

The actress, 26, says she’s been inspired by the way young people are able to love and view each other without labels.

“There’s acceptance that’s become really rampant and cool,” she said. “You don’t have to immediately know how to define yourself.”

Though she admits she struggled with the pressure to put a label on her herself while growing up, Stewart says she now believes in the idea of sexual fluidity.

Kristen Stewart talks about her sexuality and LGBT movement

“I had to have some answer about who I was. I felt this weird responsibility, because I didn’t want to seem fearful. But nothing seemed appropriate,” she explained. “So I was like ‘F—, how do I define that? I’m not going to.”

And while she says the LGBT movement is “so important” and something she wants to be involved in, she’s careful not to send the wrong message to people who might be struggling with their own sexuality.

“I didn’t want to be this example: it’s so easy,” she explains. “I don’t want it to seem like it was stupid for them to have a hard time.”

Robert Downey Jr: World’s Highest-Paid Actor

Robert Downey Jr: World's Highest-Paid Actor

You’d assume someone would be jumping for joy to know that he is the highest-paid person in his industry (especially when that industry happens to be Hollywood). However, Robert Downey Jr. is more focused on his legacy and finding continued success as an actor at this point in his life.

In the latest issue of GQ Style, the 51-year-old actor opens up about getting older, wiser and understanding that monetary value has nothing to do with his creative value.

“First of all, could you imagine back in, let’s call it the golden era…Pacino’s and De Niro’s—do you think they would ever have allowed such a paltry discussion, reducing them to a monetary figure?” he asks the publication. “I have had and I have created some of the worst luck in the history of anybody in the public eye. And then there was five minutes there where I was batting a thousand.”

Despite what he may consider his “worst luck,” R.D.J. says he never sees anything as a failure. “I don’t want to talk about failure. I want to talk about moments of humility,” he explains. “Like when you feel suddenly sick and embarrassed but then you have to continue on to the next moment immediately in full view of others. Because it’s not failure if you just recognize, I fell short, and that’s okay.”

Robert Downey Jr: World's Highest-Paid Actor

In order to prevent himself from falling short in the future, he looks at the roles he takes on with a keen eye. “Honestly, just as someone who loves movies, it’s: Can I be bothered to go see that movie if that guy makes it?” he tells GQ. “And I’m not saying that I only want to do quote-unquote popular mainstream movies. But life is short, and ultimately I’m in a service industry. As much as I exist to do anything else, I exist to create widgets of entertainment for other people to consume. And some people, that’s a big affront to their sensibilities, and I go, okay. End of the day, you are in a service industry, like Kirkland. It’s that simple.”

He continues, “When you’re on the outside looking in, for years, for decades, only a fool misplays [success] once he’s given a winning hand. And aside from certain devastating genetic weaknesses, I am not a fool.”

As for his advice for younger actors seeking the same path as him, he says, “If you always talk about all the cool stuff you’re gonna do, and you don’t understand why it hasn’t already happened for you, because, you know [snaps fingers]… The fumes of that will get you over the first hurdle, and nothing else. You must learn to put your nose to the grindstone for years and not look up, no matter how much rejection is heaped on you.”

He also expresses the power of appreciating what you have when you have it. Looking back on his role in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, he gets nostalgic. “When I watch that movie I say, ‘You were beautiful. And now…you just need to accept the fact that you’re going to age as gracefully as possible.'”
