Deepika Padukone was born on January 05, 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the age of 11 months she moved to Mangalore, Karnataka when her family returned to India. She has a sister Anisha Padukone.

Esha Deol

Esha was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and given the full name of Esha Dharmendra Deol. The name ‘Esha’ comes from the Upanishads and is derived from the Sanskrit language meaning “the divine beloved”. She has a younger sister named Ahana. She is the half-sister of actors Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. She is part Punjabi and part Tamil and speaks Tamil with her mother and sister.

Genelia D’Souza

Genelia D’Souza (born 5 August 1987) is an Indian actress, model, and host. She has appeared in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam language films. After gaining wide attention in a Parker Pen commercial with Amitabh Bachchan, D’Souza began her acting career with Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003. She was recognized for her role in Boys the same year, and later established herself in Telugu cinema by acting in several Telugu films during 2003–2005.

Juhi Chawla was born in the Chawla family on November 13, 1967 in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, and is the daughter of Punjabi-speaking dad, Dr. S. Chawla and Gujarati-speaking mom, Mona. She has a brother named Sanjeev. Her mother passed away in an accident during the year 1998 while Juhi was filming ‘Duplicate’. After completing her school in Ludhiana, the Chawla family moved to Bombay, Maharashtra, India, where Juhi attended at Sydenham College.

Kajol Mukherjee

Kajol Mukherjee popularly known as Kajol, is an Indian film actress appearing in Hindi films. She is regarded as one of India’s most successful and talented female actors. Kajol made her acting debut in the film Bekhudi (1992) and had her first commercial success with her second film Baazigar (1993) opposite Shahrukh Khan, with whom she would act in such popular movies as Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) and My Name is Khan (2010).

Karisma Kapoor

Born into Bombay filmdom’s legendary Kapoor clan, Karisma Kapoor made her film debut with Prem Qaidi (1991) opposite Harish. Her next big hit was Anari (1993) and during this time she made news with a fight with her Andaz Apna Apna (1994) co-star, actress Raveena Tandon. She had a series of hit comedies between 1994 and ’97 starting with Raja Babu (1994) and ending with Hero No. 1 (1997) with Govinda and director David Dhawan.

Kashmira Shah

Kashmira Shah has made the move from item girl to “it” girl. People first saw her in Yes Boss, recognised her after Vaastav and loved her because of Jungle. These are the three landmarks in her career. In 1993 she won the ‘Miss World University India’ and went on to national contest in South Korea and won the ‘Miss Talent award’. In 1995 Inaugurated the ‘Miss Globe’ and was ‘Miss Globe India’. Resulted in Best National Costume award and was in the top 5.

Katrina Kaif is one of eight siblings, all girls, from a mother who is a Caucasian of British Nationality, and a father who was formerly from Kashmir, India, but who has since acquired British citizenship. Madhuri Dixit (born Madhuri Shankar Dixit on 15 May 1967) is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi films. Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, she established herself as one of Hindi cinema’s leading actresses and most accomplished dancers. She appeared in numerous commercially successful films was recognised for several of her performances. Dixit is often cited by the media as one of the best actresses in Bollywood. Dixit has won five Filmfare Awards, four for Best Actress and one for Best Supporting Actress.

Mallika Sherawat, born Reema Lamba is an Indian actress who appears in mainly Bollywood films and a former model. Known for her bold onscreen attitude, Sherawat has been frequently featured in the media as a sex symbol. She is one of the few Bollywood stars trying to crossover to Hollywood, with films like Hisss and Politics of Love.

Mahima Chaudary

Mahima Chaudhry was a model before she became an actress. She was overshadowed by Aishwarya Rai in a Pepsi commercial. Her first breakthrough performance where she won rave reviews was Pardes (1997) as Ganga, the love interest of two men, Shahrukh Khan and Apoorva Agnihotri. She was chosen to be the female lead among 3000 applicants who auditioned for Pardes (1997). Her career was launched by Subhash Ghai who launched the career of Madhuri Dixit and Manisha Koirala.

Manisha Koirala

Manisha Koirala was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, into the politically prominent Koirala family. Her grandfather Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala was the Prime Minister of Nepal during the late 50s-early 60s, as well as two of her late great-uncles, Girija Prasad Koirala and Matrika Prasad Koirala. She studied at Vasant Kanya Mahavidhyalaya (VKM), Varanasi till Class X. She stayed with her grandmother in Varanasi during her studies. After passing tenth standard she shifted to the Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi (APS). Her ambition was to be a doctor, but a modelling stint opened a career path into Bollywood.

Meera was born on 15th July 1976 in Lahore. She started acting in school plays in high school and went on to model for various commercial products while still in high school. Meera went to Lahore’s Kinniard College and continued to act in school plays, however at this point her modelling career really took off as she appeared in ads for Pepsi and Lux while still in her mid-teens. She continued to model for various agencies in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad and became one of the country’s top supermodels.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra made her debut in the 2002 Tamil film Thamizhan playing the role of Priya, the love interest of the protaginist in the film played by Vijay. The film was praised for its wit, although the depth of Chopra’s character was seen as lacking. Chopra also sang playback in the film, singing “Ullathai Killadhe” along with Vijay. In 2003, she appeared in her first Bollywood film, opposite Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in the Anil Sharma film The Hero: Love Story of a Spy.

Member of the same illustrious film family from which Kajol draws her lineage Rani Mukherjee may still be at a distance from the citadel that houses her cousin. Sushmita Sen was born on November 19, 1975 in Hyderabad,India in a Bengali family to Shubeer Sen, a former Indian Air Force Wing Commander and Subhra Sen. Tabu

Tabassum Hashmi was born under the Scorpion sunsign on 4th November 1970 in Hyderabad, India. Her parents are Jamal Hashmi and Rizwana who are divorced. Her mother was a school teacher while her grandparents were professors themselves who after retiring ran a school. Tabu’s older sister is an actress Farah Naaz and her aunt is actress and social activist Shabana Azmi. Tabu did her schooling in St Anne’s High School, Hyderabad. She also studied at St Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

Urmila Matondkar

The daughter of a lecturer, actress Urmila Matondkar began her celluloid career as a child artiste with the film _Kalyug (1980)_. Although an average film at the box-office, her next film, Masoom (1983), about a family coping with an illegitimate member, showed her acting talents blossom and she received critical acclaim from both her fans and the film fraternity. She subsequently appeared in a number of films including Dacait (1987), where she plays Sunny Deol’s under-aged sister who gets brutally raped.
