I think I am the most desirable
Oh My! Priyanka Chopra thinks she is the most desirable! Check out what brought this comment on as well as Priyanka Chopra's thoughts on, 'Fashion' and 'Dostana' in this exclusive DH! interview with Priyanka Chopra below.
You have been quite busy shooting back to back Films! What are your thoughts on 'Dostana' and 'Fashion'?
I am happy with the way 'Fashion' has come out. People have responded to well. It's very different from 'Dostana'. I was very excited about both my films, and I thank everyone for their support for both my films.
I heard you had to lose weight for 'Dostana', was that difficult since you just had to gain weight for 'Fashion'?
I am not at all diet conscious. I had to put on some weight for 'Fashion' since I was playing a Punjabi, but for 'Dostana' I had to lose the seven kilos that I had put on. And I had to get in shape as well. More over I had a hard core diet, I had a proper workout schedule. Read More

Priyanka Quotes and Trivia
I got into the movies by accident. When I got an offer, I thought let's try this too. Everything in my life has happened by trial and error. I didn't even think I would win the Miss India title so where's the question of thinking I'd come this far. (July 2007)
I thoroughly believe in the institution of marriage, but there's still a long way to go before I get married. Right now I want to concentrate on my career. Read More

Doing something different makes acting fun
Priyanka Chopra loves challenges. Doing the same thing every day makes her bored, says the actress who now enjoys numero uno status in Bollywood. "Doing something different is what makes acting fun. I get bored of doing the same thing every day myself," Priyanka told IANS in an interview.
"So when you are challenged with something, you want to perform better, you want to do well. And when you get success out of something which is hugely challenging, the satisfaction and gratification is tremendous. I think that has been an ambition for me," said the actress, who is currently hosting an action-adventure show "Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi 3", aired on Colors.
The show is shot in Brazil and involves many challenging tasks, including fighting off creepy crawlies, as well as underwater and mid-air stunts.
Priyanka was here at the Kingdom of Dreams to promote her upcoming film "Anjaana Anjaani", where she has teamed up with Ranbir Kapoor for the first time. It is releasing Sep 24.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Anjaana Anjaani" is about two strangers who bump into each other when they are going through the lowest point in their lives, and have gone to the same place to commit suicide. Read More
Career Milestones
Priyanka Chopra made her debut in the 2002 Tamil film Thamizhan playing the role of Priya, the love interest of the protaginist in the film played by Vijay. The film was praised for its wit, although the depth of Chopra's character was seen as lacking. Chopra also sang playback in the film, singing "Ullathai Killadhe" along with Vijay. In 2003, she appeared in her first Bollywood film, opposite Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in the Anil Sharma film The Hero: Love Story of a Spy.
She played a supporting role as a doctor named Shaheen in the film that The New York Times described as "ripping its text from the seething border tensions between India and Pakistan, spicing its conflict with hot-tempered religious zealots bent on nuclear havoc". Despite being one of the highest grossing films of that year, the overall film was not well received by critics. Chopra was awarded mostly good reviews for her debut Hindi performance.
Later that year she appeared in Raj Kanwar's Andaaz, playing the character of Jiya who falls in love with Raj Malhotra, played by Akshay Kumar. The film was a success at the box office, earning her a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and a nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award. Rediff.com said of her role, "Priyanka Chopra alone clicks with the audience, thanks to her skimpy outfits."
