Each piece of LAND in Decentraland measures 16 meters by 16 meters and is represented as an NFT. The number of pieces of land in Decentraland is limited to 90,000, which creates a supply-demand relationship as the plots are not unlimited.
How to buy land in Decentraland?
Purchasing a land in Decentraland is actually similar to buying any product from any online shopping site. After logging in, you review various plots and decide to buy the one you like. However, when it comes to paying, you have to pay with MANA coin. You also get your land as NFT.
Signing in
To buy land on Decentraland, the first thing you need to do is go to the Decentraland Marketplace and log in. If you do not have an account, you must first register. After signing in, go to ‘Parcels and Estates’ and then click ‘View All’.
Choosing a Land in Decentraland
In the next step, you can browse the available lands and choose the land according to your wishes. When choosing a land from the Decentraland Marketplace, when you click on the land you want, you can see the neighboring areas and its proximity to the famous areas.
Once you have chosen your Decentraland plot, you can click on it to read it in detail. After clicking, you can see the price of the land in MANA, its availability, the owner’s name and important places around it under the heading ‘HIGHLIGHTS’.

After the purchase is complete, you can confirm your land in your wallet. If you are using Trust Wallet, you can confirm as under the “Collections” and “NFTs” tab in the MetaMask wallet.
