Knowing that the dastardly Prince John will stop at nothing to kill off Richard's son Phillip and assume the throne, Robin and Will set off to escort Prince Phillip to safety. Unfortunately Robin's old nemesis, the Sheriff of Nottingham (McDowell) captures the pair, putting the throne in danger.
However, Gwynn, as able a rider and archer as her father, defies her father and pairs up with Prince Phillip to rescue Robin and Will and to stop Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham from taking over the kingdom.
