Alan Tudyk
ALAN TUDYK, a Juilliard alumni, currently lives in New York where he is starring in Spamalot on Broadway. Most recently, he completed filming Steven Spielberg's Into The West, Fox's Ice Age II and the critically acclaimed independent RX.
In 2004, Alan appeared as Sonny opposite Will Smith in I, Robot and as Pirate Steve in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, with Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller.  Other movies Alan has appeared in are Patch Adams, Wonder Boys, 28 Days, A Knight's Tale and Hearts in Atlantis.
I, Robot is a schizophrenic work in its own right. If the film doesn’t feel like its own distinct beast, it’s not because it’s spawned from one too many sources – it’s because it blatantly cribs from previous works. The robot Sonny, a digitally rendered special effect, was modeled, Gollum-like, on the human attributes of credited actor Alan Tudyk, who doesn’t physically appear in the film, but commands recognition much like faceless talent Andy Serkis did in the wake of the success of The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Alan has also performed on and off  Broadway.  In addition to Spamalot, he most recently starred opposite Sarah Jessica Parker in Wonder of the World. Alan was on Broadway in the Jerry Zaks' play Epic Proportions with Kristin Chenoweth, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Oedipus Rex, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Bunny Bunny, for which he received both the Clarence Derwent and Drama League awards.
Tudyk was born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Dallas.
