Ahsoka characters. While the sentient creatures of Star Wars often take the limelight, sometimes their animal companions also steal the show. In Ahsoka’s premiere, one of the standout characters was Sabine Wren’s loth-cat, later revealed to be named Murley. While Murley only played a small role in the first two episodes, their presence still helped set the tone for the Ahsoka series as a whole.
After Ahsoka’s story shifted to the Peridea galaxy, many fans were worried about the fate of Murley since Sabine left them behind on Lothal. In the countdown to the finale, Star Wars revealed Murley’s name and assured fans that they were okay using a TikTok Live lo-fi stream which also played on the Star Wars YouTube channel. The lo-fi stream is adorable, and this tie-in to Ahsoka is a clever way to keep fans connected with the story as they wait for future works in Dave Filoni’s part of the Star Wars saga.
