Can we get to know you a little? Who is Gahl Sasson? How did your astrology journey begin?
I was born in Israel. I graduated from the psychology department at university. The biggest reason I read this chapter was because I followed the signs. I went swimming in the Mediterranean and stopped in front of my parents’ house on the way home. I looked at the house where I spent most of my life. It said ‘Freud Street’. I asked myself, “Could it be a message too obvious?” I said.
The next day, I entered the psychology department. I realized then that the sign in my parents’ house not only led me to learn about Freud, but also started me on the path to discovering the wisdom of Kabbalah. My name means ‘wave’ in Hebrew. I went on a journey in Mexico where I learned to surf and understood the waves and therefore myself. I was also introduced to yoga, astrology and Kabbalah here.
Which direction is the world heading astrologically? What kind of perspective will we have in 2024?
In 2024, the world will experience flashbacks to look back and see what was lost or move forward. Generation Z (people born after 1995/96 when Pluto moved into Sagittarius) will follow. This is a great generation that wants to make the world better, is anti-racist and accepting of different people. In the first part of 2024, it will have a major angle to Capricorn, a very conservative sign, and at the winter solstice, December 21, to the age of Aquarius on December 21.
There will be six solar eclipses in 2024 instead of the four each year. What effects might this have?
Eclipses accelerate processes and push events towards completion. They elevate and resolve what is happening in our lives. They are storytellers who transform magical life and use dreams. There are two types of eclipses. Sun and moon…
In solar eclipses, the Moon’s face covers the Sun. We feel neglected, lonely, hopeless and lacking in energy. During a solar eclipse, you may feel lightless, devastated, or blocked, but that’s usually because the path you’re on is leading nowhere.
Lunar eclipses tend to be emotional, psychosomatic, ejaculatory and eventful. While the solar eclipse is masculine, the lunar eclipse is the wild side of femininity. Werewolves are associated with creatures of the night, magic, transformation, subconscious fears, the astral plane, instinct and fear. During the lunar eclipse, fight the urge to be reactive. Breathe deeply and let go of the work piling up on you. It’s a good time to surrender and cut out what’s holding you back. In 2024 we have the most solar eclipses possible in a year.
Saturn moves into Aquarius in 2024. What kind of a period begins? What do you foresee?
Saturn is a great teacher and wherever he travels he helps us break the mold and learn lessons the hard way. In 2024, he will visit Aquarius from March 21 to the beginning of July. Last time it was 1991 and 1992, so you can go back to that time to see what happened in your life. Aquarius people are the sign of democracy and power, so you will see demonstrations in Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, India and Israel may continue or make a decision.
Remember, Aquarius is the hope and brotherhood of humanity. There may also be new discoveries and developments in medicine and technology. Since Aquarius is associated with innovation and youth, there will be more demonstrations about climate change and green parties may gain more momentum around the world. You will see young people garnering more influence in politics.

I do yoga four times a week, gym three times and Brazilian jiu-jitsu three times a week.
Do you shape your life by looking at your own birth chart?
