The winners of the 2022 Sundance Film Festival have been announced. “Nanny” won the Grand Jury Prize in the US Drama Competition; In the world cinema section, “Utama” won the Grand Jury Prize.
The awards were given to their owners at the Sundance Film Festival, which was held online this year due to the pandemic conditions. In the festival, “Nanny” directed by Nikyatu Jusu won the Grand Jury Prize in the US Drama Competition; The Audience Award went to “Cha Cha Real Smooth”, directed by Cooper Raiff.
Maryna Er Gorbac, the director of the Turkish co-production “Klondike”, won the Best Director Award in the World Cinema Drama Competition category.
