The Irishman: Scorsese did best of the best once again

The Irishman (2019)

The Irishman is a biographical crime film directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Steven Zaillian. Based on Charles Brandt’s I Heard You Paint Houses, the film cast includes Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Anna Paquin, Bobby Cannavale, Harvey Keitel and Ray Romano. The film follows the fate of Jimmy Hoffa, one of the two questions Americans are most curious about (whether the other aliens were born), but not Frank Hofer, but one of his closest names, Frank Sheeran.

Frank Sheeran is a missionary, underlined by the dirty military memories. He does his duty, doesn’t ask questions, and doesn’t give names when questioned. For a mafia boss or trade union president, the film says that the two are not very different. Frank succeeds in his missions, and with some connections, eventually becomes the man of the powerful name of the truckers union, Jimmy Hoffa. The 209-minute film has been transformed into a Jimmy Hoffa story from the point of view of Frank Sheeran.

It’s obvious where Martin Scorsese spends $ 140 million. I’ve never seen a movie in so many places in my life. So is cinematography. Scorsese has no fault of respect for the anthology of mafia movies for 209 minutes. There are even some loves that he has made to honor other filmmakers. When talking about the Italian mafia in the restaurant, it is like hearing the music that resembles the theme of The Godfather movies…

The Irishman (2019)

It is easy to age young players with makeup, but rejuvenate the elderly? In a story told for 50 years, when the old-fashioned actors who cannot be collected in the same project are forced to use digital tricks again, the technique I admire in Gemini Man is grinning here. Especially in close-ups, artifact is felt. Acting time and CGI smileys are not needed when the time progressed to enjoy. Still, there’s one who plays well, and that’s Joe Pesci! I especially wanted to applaud this player who left him fascinated in the final sequences. I know that the master player has repeatedly refused before accepting this role, and once I saw this performance, I was once again grateful to Scorsese who insisted that he play.

The film began broadcasting on Netflix today. Even though the master filmmaker follows an innovative path for the screenings, what he tells are just the old times he missed. In today’s political righteousness, the Irishman talks about things that are quite odd and trialable. The Irishman shows beautiful cars, powerful men and women who do not question them, but it does so in a way that you admire. Have a good time…

All about The Irish Man movie.
