Google users could delete their location history and internet activity data at any time in the “settings” section of their account. However, users will be able to request automatic deletion of their data within the period determined by the system by specifying a period between 3 and 18 months.
If users who request their data to be deleted automatically do not specify a time frame, the data will be stored for 18 months and data older than 18 months will be automatically deleted. This new feature, announced by Google, is planned to be available on Android and iOS platforms in the coming weeks.
