RANDY EDELMAN (Composer) has created the scores for a wide range of movies. His latest film is the action thriller “Stealth,” for director Rob Cohen, with whom he has also collaborated on the films “XXX,” “The Skulls,” “Daylight,” “Dragonheart” and “Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story.” He has also worked multiple times with director Ivan Reitman, composing the music for “Six Days, Seven Nights,” “Kindergarten Cop,” “Ghostbusters II” and “Twins.”

In all, Edelman has scored more than 70 film and television projects, including such features as “Gettysburg”; “Shanghai Noon” and the sequel “Shanghai Knights”; “The Whole Nine Yards”; Ron Howard's “Edtv”; “Diabolique”; “Anaconda”; “The Indian in the Cupboard”; “While You Were Sleeping”; “Billy Madison”; “The Mask”; “Angels in the Outfield”; “The Last of the Mohicans”; “Beethoven”; and “My Cousin Vinny.” His upcoming films include the sequels “Miss Congeniality 2” and “Son of the Mask.”

For television, Edelman won an Emmy Award for the music for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. His other television credits include the themes for the series “MacGyver” and “Sports Century.”

Also a successful songwriter, Edelman wrote the words and music for Barry Manilow's classic hit “Weekend in New England.” He is currently on the charts as the co-composer of the new number one hit from rap artist Nelly, “My Place,” which can be heard on Nelly's chart-topping album, “Suit.”
