CLAUDIO MIRANDA (Director of Photography) is a talented and award-winning cinematographer known for his innovative work in the worlds of television commercials and music videos. He previously worked with director Tom Dey on several television commercials. “Failure to Launch,” marks his first feature film debut as a cinematographer. Miranda has crafted the looks for some of the top musical artists, including Beyoncé Knowles, Missy Elliot, Tori Amos, Lenny Kravitz, Nickelback, and Snoop Dogg. Working with directors David Fincher and Rob Cohen, he has also created commercials for top corporate clients such as Nike, Motorola, Toyota, McDonald's, Heineken, and American Airlines among others. As a gaffer, Miranda has worked with cinematographers Darius Wolski (“Crimson Tide,” “The Fan)”), Jeff Cronenweth (“Fight Club”) and Danny Mindel (“Enemy of the State”).
