SCOTT FRANK SCOTT FRANK (Screenplay) grew up in Los Gatos, California. He received a B.A. in Film Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1982. His screenplays include Out of Sight, which was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Adapted Screenplay; Out of Sight also won the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, the Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America, as well as Best Screenplay awards from the National Society of Film Critics and the Boston Society of Film Critics.
