MATT WALKER (Senior Vice President, Music, DisneyToon Studios)
Walker oversees music for all DisneyToon Studio films and it's special projects. He is responsible for bringing in the incredible world renowned talents of Carly Simon and Phil Collins, and for blending their sounds with such up-and-comers as Tiffany Evans and the hip band of brothers B5. He returned to Disney in Spring 2000 from Fox where he served as senior vice president of music. During his tenure at Fox, Walker guided music for films such as “Titanic,” “Dr. Doolittle,” “Ever After,” “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” and “Entrapment.” Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of music for Disney's feature film division, where he supervised or co-supervised music for “Sister Act,” “What's Love Got To Do With It,” “Father of the Bride,” “Phenomenon,” “Up Close and Personal,” among others. Walker began his career as music supervisor for Disney's television unit in 1986. Currently he is working with chart-busting music sensations Martina McBride and Alison Krauss for the music on “Bambi 2,” and ever talented Reba McEntire on “Fox & the Hound 2.”
