GEOFF DEANE (Script Writer) has had a prominent career across music, TV, film and journalism. His many writing credits include head writer on the long running BBC series, Birds of a Feather, Chef, starring Lenny Henry, as well as the sitcom, Babes in the Wood starring Denise Van Outen. Geoff has worked as a writer on shows such as Channel 4's Tonight with Jonathan Ross and Saturday Zoo and more recently wrote and executive produced the TV movie Back Home and the series A Many Splintered Thing for the BBC.   Geoff is also a successful musician and composed music for Shrek - Best Years of our Lives and Queer Folk. Geoff also wrote and sang for the punk band Leyton Buzzards and the new romantic chart sensation Modern Romance. He also wrote for and sang with the late Divine. More recently Geoff has written the screenplay, The Perfect Margarita, in development with World Productions and It's A Boy Girl Thing for Rocket Productions. He has also been commissioned by Rocket to write a further screenplay and has two comedies in development with the BBC.
