GAIL STEVENS has a wealth of casting experience, spanning film, theatre and television. After working as casting director at the Royal Court Theatre in the early 80s she has worked across a number of prestigious films and television programmes. These include David Hayman's Black and Blue and Giles Foster's Oliver's Travels for the BBC, series 1 and 2 of the cutting edge drama, Cracker, the award-winning BBC drama series, Our Friends in North, Where the Heart Is, series 1, Simon Crawford-Collins' Spooks series 2 and Philip Martin's recent Bloodlines for Granada. Gail has worked with Julian Jarrold on a number of occasions casting the dramas, Touching Evil, Great Expectations, Never Never and Crime and Punishment.

Her films cover a wide range of genres ranging from Danny Boyle's Trainspotting, The Beach, 28 Days Later and Millions to Nancy Meyers' Something's Gotta Give. Other films include Charles Russell's The Scorpion King, Hettie Macdonald's Beautiful Thing and UK casting on X-MeN 2 and PJ Hogan's Peter Pan.

More recently her work has covered films such as Nigel Cole's Calendar Girls and forthcoming films Colour Me Cubrick, Woody Allen's Match Point, Guy Ritchie's Revolver and Andrew Andamson's eagerly anticipated The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
