JUSTIN LIN's (Directed by) solo directorial debut, the critically acclaimed Better Luck Tomorrow, premiered at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival, garnering a nomination for the Grand Jury Prize.  At the 2004 Independent Spirit Awards, Better Luck Tomorrow-which he co-wrote, co-produced and edited-was honored with a John Cassavetes Award nomination.

The film went on to make box-office history as the highest grossing per-screen average opening weekend film for Paramount Classics/MTV Films when it was released in April 2003.  Renowned film critics, including Ebert and Roeper, listed Better Luck Tomorrow as one of the top five films of the year.

Justin Lin's second solo feature, Touchstone's Annapolis, starring James Franco, Tyrese Gibson and Jordana Brewster was released in January 2006.  He is also attached to direct Strangers-which Vertigo Entertainment is producing for Focus Features-as well as the Vertigo Entertainment and Universal Pictures' film Old Boy, a remake of a Korean-language action thriller.  In addition, he is independently developing Crickets, a bittersweet drama, as his next feature film.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, and raised in Southern California, Lin was recently named one of Variety's “Top-10 Filmmakers to Watch.”  In July 2003, Lin was named the “It Auteur” on Entertainment Weekly's annual “It List,” citing the 100 most creative people in the entertainment industry.

He holds a BA and MFA in film directing from the UCLA School of Film and Television, where he began writing, directing and producing numerous award-winning short films.  
Early in his career, Lin served as the production coordinator of the Media Arts Center for the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles.  During his tenure there, he created several educational television pilots and documentaries such as Passing Through, which was featured on PBS.  His multi-media projects at the Japanese American National Museum include J-Town Rhapsody, an eight-screen video installation, which received several awards including the Crystal Communicator Award of Excellence.

More recently, Justin Lin established Trailing Johnson, his own production company, which has already completed Spotlighting, a documentary about a long-running Las Vegas lounge act, soon to be broadcast on national television. Trailing Johnson Productions is presently in the midst of developing several new film and television projects including Finishing the Game, a satirical feature set in the recent past.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CHRIS MORGAN (Written by) has been a huge fan of movies and movie-making as far back as he can remember.  His passion for cinematic storytelling led to his first produced screenplay, New Line's 2004 thriller Cellular, which he then followed up with Maverick Film's period samurai actioner Sakura.  In addition, Morgan has served as a script polisher on several high-profile studio projects, including Sony's 2003 summer blockbuster S.W.A.T.

Morgan is currently working on two Universal projects, both screen adaptations of graphic novels: James D. Hudnall and Daniel Brereton's The Psycho, and Mark Millar's Wanted, which Morgan is writing under the guidance of visionary Russian filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov (Night Watch).

Morgan currently resides in Los Angeles, raising his two daughters with wife Michelle.

NEAL H. MORITZ (Produced by) is the owner of Original Film, an established feature film company.  Moritz has a degree in economics from UCLA and a graduate degree from the Peter Stark Motion Picture Producing Program at the University of Southern California.

Moritz produced such hit films as Sweet Home Alabama, starring Reese Witherspoon; 2 Fast 2 Furious, with Paul Walker and Tyrese Gibson; S.W.A.T., starring Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Farrell; and Revolution Studios' XXX, with Vin Diesel and Jackson; and its sequel, XXX: State of the Union, with Jackson and Ice Cube; and Stealth, which marked Moritz' fifth collaboration with director Rob Cohen. They previously collaborated on the blockbuster The Fast and the Furious, starring Diesel, Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster; XXX; The Skulls, starring Walker and Joshua Jackson; and the HBO movie The Rat Pack, with Ray Liotta and Don Cheadle, which was nominated for 11 Emmy awards.

Moritz's earlier credits helped establish him as one of the most bankable producers in Hollywood.  Juice was his first major film, followed by the Columbia Pictures hit I Know What You Did Last Summer, which featured break-through performances by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe and Freddie Prinze, Jr. The successful sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, followed, with pop sensation Brandy added to the cast. Moritz's next film for Columbia, Urban Legend, also spawned a successful sequel, Urban Legends: Final Cut.  The youth drama Cruel Intentions was Original Film's first self-financed feature.

Moritz' more recent credits include the Denzel Washington thriller Out of Time, directed by Carl Franklin; and Torque, the motorcycle action movie helmed by music video veteran Joseph Kahn; Not Another Teen Movie, a spoof of the very teen film genre that he helped create; and the college comedy Slackers, starring Jason Schwartzman and Devon Sawa.  Other credits include Volcano; Blue Streak, with Martin Lawrence; Saving Silverman, with Jack Black, Steve Zahn and Jason Biggs; and the Leelee Sobieski-starrer The Glass House.

Moritz is currently producing the drama Gridiron Gang, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and hip-hop artist Xzibit; and the comedy Click, starring Adam Sandler, Kate Beckinsale and Christopher Walken.

CLAYTON TOWNSEND (Executive Producer) is one of the film industry's most respected hands-on and creative producers, having shepherded motion pictures in every genre from preproduction through post-production around the world.

Townsend most recently executive produced Judd Apatow's bawdy comedy The 40-Year-Old Virgin, starring Steve Carell and Catherine Keener; and Iain Softley's voodoo thriller The Skeleton Key, starring Kate Hudson, Gena Rowlands, John Hurt and Peter Sarsgaard.

Among his many other credits, Townsend served as executive producer on the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced, Joel Schumacher-directed Bad Company, starring Anthony Hopkins and Chris Rock; and the MGM comedy Heartbreakers, starring Sigourney Weaver, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Gene Hackman.

Previously, he continued a longtime collaboration with director Oliver Stone as producer of the hit football epic Any Given Sunday.  Townsend has had a longstanding association with the filmmaker for 12 years on eight films.  He served as associate producer on Talk Radio, Born on the Fourth of July and The Doors; co-producer on JFK and Heaven & Earth; and producer on Natural Born Killers, Nixon and U Turn.

For these films, Townsend utilized his considerable logistical and organizational skills on locations as diverse as Thailand, the Philippines and the farthest reaches of the Navajo Reservation-assisting Stone in recreating a wide range of historical and contemporary events.

Townsend's other producer credits include Abel Ferrara's The Blackout and Where's Marlowe?, directed by Daniel Pyne.  In addition to feature films, Townsend has produced several high profile television pilots for Paramount Television over the years-including the 2003 telefilm Homeland Security.

Townsend entered the motion picture business in 1979 when he joined the production team of the Warner Bros.' Paul Simon film One Trick Pony.  There, he segued into position of location manager on such features as The Loveless, Beat Street, 9 ½ Weeks, A Chorus Line and Angel Heart.  He was the production manager of Legal Eagles, A New Life, Three Men and a Baby, Homeboy and Jacob's Ladder, before beginning his association with Stone.

STEPHEN WINDON, ACS (Director of Photography) is a talented cinematographer who has almost three decades of experience to his name, in both his native Australia and abroad.  Most recently, Windon worked on horror-thriller House of Wax and collaborated with director Kevin Donovan on The Tuxedo, starring Jackie Chan and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Windon's career began in television at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, where he worked his way up through the ranks, starting as an assistant cameraman and eventually working as a director of photography for this prestigious television network.

After shooting more than 30 television documentaries (including A Big Country) and several miniseries (including Police Rescue, The Leaving of Liverpool, Children of the Dragon), he left the ABC to work freelance on feature films and television commercials.
Windon's international career began in 1993 when he was offered his first U.S. feature production of Rapa Nui, directed by Kevin Reynolds and produced by Kevin Costner. He then photographed several Australian feature films and U.S. telefilms before shooting Firestorm and The Patriot, both directed by Dean Semler.  His other motion picture credits include The Postman, directed by Kevin Costner, and Deep Blue Sea, directed by Renny Harlin.  In addition to his work on feature films, he has worked on hundreds of television commercials for both Australian and international clients.

During the course of his long career, Windon has been the recipient of seven Australian Cinematographers Society Awards, two Australian Film Institute feature nominations and an Australian Film Critics nomination.

IDA RANDOM (Production Designer) is a talented production designer who most recently designed for James L. Brooks' Spanglish.  Random has worked with some of the industry's top filmmakers, including multiple collaborations with directors Lawrence Kasdan (Wyatt Earp, Silverado and The Big Chill) and Danny DeVito (Hoffa, The War of the Roses and Throw Momma from the Train).

Among her other credits as production designer are the motion pictures The Postman, directed by Kevin Costner; Barry Levinson's Rain Man; The Fan; Irreconcilable Differences; Body Double; Who's that Girl?; About Last Night…; Defending Your Life; Housesitter; Suspect Zero; Along Came a Spider; and A Man Apart.

Born in Scotland and raised in a variety of locales-Africa, Ireland, Belgium and England-Random studied in Vancouver and Los Angeles, concentrating on drafting and construction. She worked as art director for The Hollywood Reporter, and later in props and set decoration, before trying her hand at art direction.  She served as assistant art director on True Confessions, On Golden Pond and Urban Cowboy and as art director on the films Partners and Frances.
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift marks FRED RASKIN's (Edited by) third collaboration with director Justin Lin.  He served as additional editor on Lin's 2003 high-school crime story Better Luck Tomorrow for MTV Films and went on to edit Lin's 2006 boxing drama Annapolis, for Touchstone Pictures.

Raskin, a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, began his career in the cutting room working as an assistant editor to Dylan Tichenor (Boogie Nights) and Sally Menke (Kill Bill), before taking on the tasks of additional editor on Paul Thomas Anderson's 2002 romantic comedy Punch-Drunk Love, for Revolution Studios.

KELLY MATSUMOTO (Edited by) has served as editor on blockbuster films including 2004's Van Helsing, 2003's Two Soldiers and 2001's The Mummy Returns.

Additionally, Matsumoto served as additional editor on Meet the Fockers, associate editor on Deep Rising and assistant editor on Grumpier Old Men.

The filmmaker began her career working as first assistant editor on The Adventures of Huck Finn and The Jungle Book and Love and a .45.

AMANDA COHEN (Co-Producer) most recently served as co-producer on the 2003 blockbuster hit S.W.A.T., starring Colin Farrell, Samuel L. Jackson and LL Cool J, and recently wrapped production on Gridiron Gang, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Cohen, senior vice president of development at Original Film, grew up in Los Angeles and attended the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating with a major in English, she interned at ICM talent agency in both New York and Los Angeles.  Shortly thereafter, she joined Original Film and worked with producer Neal Moritz on The Fast and the Furious, The Skulls and Not Another Teen Movie, among others.  Presently, she has multiple projects in development including The Wind in the Willows and Planet Terry.

SANJA MILKOVIC HAYS (Costume Designer) designed the distinctive and sexy looks for The Fast and the Furious and the hit sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious, as well as a diverse roster of other motion pictures including XXX, XXX: State of the Union, Taxi, Cheaper by the Dozen, Big Fat Liar, Along Came a Spider, Mission to Mars, Star Trek: Insurrection, Blade, 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag, Spaced Invaders, Buried Alive and The Masque of the Red Death.  Her work will next be seen in the upcoming football drama Gridiron Gang, starring Dwayne “The Rock.” Johnson.

She was also assistant costume designer of the fantasy/science fiction films, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie and two smash hits from director Roland Emmerich: Stargate and Independence Day.

Hays was born in Zagreb, Croatia, where she graduated from the local university.

BRIAN TYLER is an accomplished and award-winning composer, classical conductor and songwriter.  He got his start in music at a young age learning piano, drums and guitar and toured extensively through his teens and early 20s, playing in concert halls around the world.

He scored the hit thriller Constantine, starring Keanu Reeves; as well as The Hunted, starring Tommy Lee Jones, for Academy Award-winning director William Friedkin; and Timeline, for director Richard Donner.

He composed the music for Walt Disney Pictures' The Greatest Game Ever Played, directed by Bill Paxton. Tyler also wrote the music for Touchstone Pictures' drama Annapolis, starring James Franco and Tyrese Gibson and directed by Justin Lin.
Tyler's score for Bill Paxton's Frailty won the World Soundtrack Award in 2002, while his best-selling score for Children of Dune reached number four on the Amazon.com bestseller charts, as well as winning a BSO Spirit Film Music Award for “Best Score of the Year” in 2003.

He also composed music for the 2004 Olympics and was nominated for an Emmy Award for his score to Last Call, which chronicled the life of F. Scott Fitzgerald and starred Jeremy Irons and Sissy Spacek.  His score for Godsend, starring Robert De Niro, and the number one box-office horror film Darkness Falls (winner of The BSO Spirit Thriller Score of the Year Award, 2003) have received raves from magazines such as Music from the Movies.

The publication called Tyler “the hottest young composer in Hollywood” (July 2004), while Film Score Monthly named Tyler as “the future of film scoring” on the cover of its May 2004 issue. Tyler entered the business by scoring successful independent films such as Six-String Samurai and Bubba Ho-tep. He also composed the score for Star Trek: Enterprise and the critically acclaimed Panic, starring William H. Macy and Donald Sutherland.  Other credits include 20th Century Fox's Paparazzi, produced by Mel Gibson, as well as the science-fiction thriller The Final Cut, starring Robin Williams and Jim Caviezel.

Tyler is a graduate of UCLA and Harvard University and was greatly inspired by his Academy Award-winning art director grandfather, Walter Tyler (The Ten Commandments).
