Death and those endless regrets

Death and those endless regrets

Death is the only fact that every living thing is certain in this world! Our destiny that we approach step by step from the day we were born. No matter how much we want to forget, it is always there, next to us… Something that most of us are afraid of. Psychologists say that fear of death lies at the heart of any fear.

Maybe he is afraid of the unknown, who knows? After all, there is no going back. But the number of people who have near-death experience is quite high. Of course, the experiences that are the subject of books and movies inspire those with wide imagination like me!

Today, I want to talk about what this reality creates for our earthly life, not the fantasy that nourishes our creativity. There were two basic philosophical movements in ancient times; one is “Carpe diem” and the other is “Memento mori”. Those who caught the moment, those who enjoy the moment and do not forget that they will die… These two approaches, which were perceived as opposed to each other at first, have always tampered with me. In fact, when the mobile phones were new, the opening message of my phone had been “Remember to Die!” For many years. What made me write this? Was man really such a forgetful being? Could it really be blindly attached to the world he came to die for?

I didn’t know… It’s been twenty-odd years; neither have we lost our lives nor souls have come to this world and I still do not know exactly DEATH. I’m researching, like everyone else… While I am planning this article in my head, I get the news of the death of Kobe Bryant, the legendary NBA basketball player of 41 years. Yes, legends are also dying. While I was writing this article, there is an earthquake in Elazig, dozens of lives go to the other side. I say all of them have a light for me, I continue to write.

We all gonna die. One day, a moment…

It’s a single moment, for someone who will stop time, and perhaps for the deceased that will be the beginning of something. I know everyone’s faith is self-respecting. I like writing concepts that do not separate but unite, like DEATH… believers, believers, devout, liberals, democrats, sharians, intellectuals, ignorants, artists, scientists, mufties, soldiers, doctors, teachers, grandparents, babies, animals, plants, alive, lifeless everything will die one day. The single most common rule of the Universe. Then why do we give this concept the value it deserves and bless life? Doesn’t that also mean blessing death? I say, I did not realize that the two currents that seemed opposite each other were actually the passwords of my life… Let’s notice together!

Isn’t it a person who catches the moment, in a sense, who never forgets that he will die? Isn’t the person who is the one that is happening in the moment in the moment is the one who experiences existence in its deepest form?

You know what I mean? If we really want to be in the moment, whatever is going on at that moment, we have to be there with our 100 percent full presence. In a conversation, you need to listen to the person in your heart and deeply, and be ONE with him by feeling his feelings and thoughts. If you are playing with your child, you should not have any background concerns about what to cook in the mind, when the borrowers will come, or unnecessary concerns about your problems

If you are reading a book, you shouldn’t be wondering what happened on your phone, social media. If you have devoted time to a loved one, you should not divide it by anything else. If you are working on anything, you should neither burn the bottom of the food nor answer the ringing phones.

I know its so hard. Especially when living such busy lives today, it is more difficult but this is what they call living right! Because we are not computers and we do not need to specialize in multiple parallel operations! However, they taught us during their long working years; Look at the phone while writing an e-mail, pretend to listen to your colleague and give an automatic answer!

As long as things do not accumulate. We have been trained on uninterrupted activism, like workers who are constantly getting jobs from an assembly line. The situation of the housewives living in the city or the person whose nature has deteriorated under the name of modernization is no different! While cooking the soup, breastfeed your baby! While driving the field, talk on the phone! Samples can be increased according to location and situation. After all, nobody is in the moment!

Theoretically nobody lives, not aware!

You can say what these have to do with death. It has a lot to do with me. I really can’t die without really living. It is our goal to live and die with right! While the search for meaning is the essence of philosophy, for those who can look through this window, it burns the signal of life in satisfaction. What is the hope? The hope of the joy of existence, the hope of believing that our lives have a purpose, and the hope of believing that we will transform in eternity when the time comes…

Well, one can believe in any other way. Perspectives that fear of extinction creates an endless utopia of existence… Or perspectives of those who never care about these issues while living… All are very precious; they offer a wide range of research to those looking for me and me. But then a cheeky hope, which I have not put inside, always there, gushing from my DNA: “What harm is there to think like that? Tell me what they believe, feel… ”he says. Fortunately, the system supports this.

What I have read, heard, or perhaps urban legends says that at the time of death, the person saw his whole life as a single moment (like a storyboard with his classic interpretation), and at that moment he would have either settle for his life or not. I write them for the souls who want to emigrate from this world, who are willing to settle for their lives, for those who dream of a life of satiety who does not want to spend their life in the world (perhaps the only thing they have foundation) with regrets:

I think about what kind of person you want to be before you die. Imagine your funeral!
How would you like to be mentioned?
What moments would you like to realize that you are experiencing?
How many offended people would you like to leave behind?
How many people would you like your kindness to be touched?
How many books have you read?
How many days have you been on vacation?
How many hours have you spent together with your favorite?
How many people have you been helping?
And what have you spent your life for?

How long would you choose to extend those unnecessary malaise? When there are so many moments that we can spend happily and with love! Isn’t life too short to regret?

I am wondering how many of these questions I ask himself, while the human is actually selfishly thinking about his own death with each death.

While still alive…
