As Disney prepares to launch its new streaming service in the fall, we’re beginning to hear more news and rumors about what the new shows will entail. The latest rumor? Hailee Steinfeld has won the lead role of Kate Bishop in “Hawkeye.”
We’re hoping this story stays on target, because Steinfeld would be a great Kate! The young archer has taken the mantle of Hawkeye from Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner in the MCU) many times over the course of the comics. If you’d like a taste of what the show could offer, we’d highly recommend Matt Fraction and David Aja’s groundbreaking run on the title.
