China’s first contact with the dark side of the Moon

China's first contact with the dark side of the Moon.

The Chinese spacecraft landed in the area known as the ‘dark side’ of the Moon. The spacecraft Change 4 left Earth on December 8 last year. The unmanned spacecraft became the first vehicle in the southern pole of the Moon, known as the yüz dark side ve, and descended from the earth to the invisible region. The spacecraft also sent the first photos.

Chang is expected to receive more information in the Aitken basin, the oldest and deepest crater on the moon’s surface, and to send new images to Earth. Thus, it is stated that new data about the formation of the Moon will be obtained. The exploration tool will also be used to investigate various minerals on the Moon and to collect samples. The Beijing administration says this step is “critical” in order to compete with the US and Russia in space exploration.
