At the European level at the World Travel Awards 2019, six hotels were distinguished, which are now among the best in Europe.
Greece has won many awards in awarding the European branch of the “Tourism Industry Oscars” as they are called the World Travel Awards, which took place on Saturday, June 8, in Madeira, Portugal.
In particular, six hotels were distinguished at European level, which are now among the best in Europe for 2019, as well as HotelBrain and Mideast Travel Worldwide.
From the awards won by Greece, the distinction of Mani as a top destination of the Greek hinterland, Cyclades as a top island destination and Chania as a top destination of visitor experiences is distinguished.
At the World Travel Awards, Grand Resort Lagonissi won the prize of the “Top European Luxury Hotel”. This award ceremony was held at the Belmond Reid’s Palace, on the island of Madeira, Portugal, on Saturday night, June 8, 2019, during the official World Tour Awards ™ World Tour Awards ceremony.
The award was a result of the vote of the Tourism and Public Professionals, organized in the framework of the 26th annual World Travel Awards ™. It is noted that these awards have been internationally recognized since 1993 as the highest honor in the tourism sector worldwide.
