Kidman, Urban begin honeymoon in Bora Bora
BEIJING, June 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Celebrity couple Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban landed in Tahiti's Bora Bora island Monday to start their honeymoon after their wedding ceremony Sunday.
The couple's private Gulfstream jet touched down in French Polynesia and they were quickly whisked off in a chartered plane for a 45-minute journey to nearby Bora Bora.
According to Sydney's Daily Telegraph, the newlyweds are staying in the luxury 15,000 dollar-a-night Royal Estate at the new St. Regis resort
The couple was spotted boarding Kidman's private jet on Monday evening, prompting frenzied media speculation about where they might spend their honeymoon.
Hollywood superstar Nicole Kidman married country singer Keith Urban late Sunday in a romantic twilight ceremony on a beachside hilltop in the Sydney surfing suburb of Manly.
Kidman won the best actress Oscar in 2002 for "The Hours" and Urban took home a Grammy this year for best male country vocalist.
It was Urban's first marriage. Kidman and Cruise divorced in 2001 after 10 years of marriage.
Kidman has said she and Urban will set up home in Nashville, Tenn., when they return to the United States.

Nicole Kidman and Tom CruiseChurch disavowed Kidman marriage to Cruise
SYDNEY, June 27 (UPI) -- Nicole Kidman married singer Keith Urban in Sydney in a Catholic ceremony without an annulment because the church hadn't recognized her marriage to Tom Cruise.
It had been widely reported that Kidman received an annulment of her first union. Because the previous marriage had been performed in the Church of Scientology, however, it was not considered legitimate in the Catholic church, the BBC reported.
Kidman only needed a license from the church, saying she was legally free to marry. Father Paul Coleman, who married the couple, spoke of the religious ceremony as Kidman's spiritual homecoming.
The Vatican is said to be displeased with the rate of annulments in the United States, saying U.S. priests are too easy to argue for "psychological incapacity assuming the obligations."
The Holy See said 43,153 annulments were granted worldwide, almost 29,000 of which were issued in North America, in 2003. Only 511 were granted in Great Britain and 304 in Ireland.

Nicole Kidman's Next Movie
Nicole Kidman is in talks with Lars Von Trier to appear in "Wasington," the final part of the Danish auteur's controversial American trilogy. Kidman starred as gangster daughter Grace in the first movie, "Dogville," but was unavailable for the second installment, "Manderlay." Bryce Dallas Howard took the role of Grace in "Manderlay," which had its world premiere at Cannes last week. Kidman recently said she and Howard will "share the role" in the third movie. Production has been delayed until 2007 because von Trier wants more time to work on the script.   Source: Dark Horizons

Kidman Bewitched By Happy Feet
Nicole Kidman told SCI FI Wire that she's providing a voice for director George Miller's upcoming animated musical, Happy Feet. "I got to sing a little bit," Kidman said in an interview while promoting her next film, Bewitched. "I'm a penguin. I hope a cute penguin."
Miller, like Kidman, is Australian. Though he's directed more than a dozen films, including the Mad Max trilogy and The Witches of Eastwick, Miller's last film was Babe: Pig in the City seven years ago. "He's obviously a huge talent, George, and he hasn't made a film for so long," Kidman said. Asked what songs she performs, Kidman replied: "I just did some pieces. I'm a very small role. I'm a big penguin, but a small role. From Bewitched to a penguin."
Happy Feet follows the plight of Mumble (Elijah Wood), a penguin whose inability to sing causes major problems for him, as penguins meet their mates through song. Other recognizable names lending their voices to the production include Brittany Murphy, Hugh Jackman and Robin Williams. The film will be released in November 2006.

Nicole Kidman spends 38th birthday with teenagers
Nicole Kidman celebrated her 38th birthday with select readers of Seventeen magazine Monday night for a special screening of her comedy Bewitched.
The Oscar-winning actress arrived alone and was clearly touched when the girls presented her with homemade birthday cards and sang the birthday song to her.
“You're good!” Kidman said with a laugh, posing for photos with the girls and the magazine staff. “Thank you! I'm not having a party or anything. You're my party.”
As for more celebration, Kidman says she has nothing planned.  “I send my mom flowers to say thank you," Kidman said. "I don't think your birthday is about you. I get enough attention. I don't need any more attention.”
When asked if she could twitch her nose and make anything happen as her character Samantha can in Bewitched, Kidman replied, “I would want no war and to eradicate cancer. And things for me? I'd want to be able to twitch my nose and be anywhere in the world at any time, because I spend a lot of time away from the people I love.”
Nicole added another wish to the list:  “For the person meant to come and find me, I would say: Come and find me soon!”
She won’t talk about her ex-husband’s engagement to Katie Holmes.  “When you are really well known, it's a balancing act,” she said. “I've had a lot of things happen in my life. I've been under so much scrutiny. And by now, I'm a bit gun-shy. I'm not good at lying, and I believe that if you look someone in the eye and tell them something, you'd better believe what you're saying. But at the same time, I have no problem saying 'no comment,' because it's about protecting your family and protecting your heart.”   Source: people.monstersandcritics.com

Vanity Fair's Nicole Kidman issue disappoints
Tom Cruise's contractual agreements extend to ex-wife Nicole Kidman even after their divorce. They split with the agreement not to talk publicly about each other, which left Vanity Fair offering up some empty promises. The cover promised the Bewitched star would open up about her old romance; the article, however, didn't come close.
