Billie Eilish wins four awards at the Grammys

The 62nd Grammy Awards, known as the ‘Oscar’ of the music world, found their owners at a ceremony held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

18-year-old Billie Eilish has been the first to receive awards in four main categories (Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best New Artist) in 1981 since Christopher Cross. Eilish also entered Grammy recordings as the youngest artist to receive an award in the Album of the Year category. The previous record belonged to Fearless and Taylor Swift in 2010.

According to the report in Sputnik, the famous American basketball player Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash at the opening of the ceremony hosted by US singer Alicia Keys, was also mentioned.

Keys said, “We’re in the house Kobe Bryant built, our hearts are broken,” referring to the ceremony being held at the Staples Center, where Bryant was legendary with Los Angeles Lakers. Pop singer Lizzo started her opening performance with the words “Kobe for you tonight”.

Michelle Obama, the wife of former US President Barack Obama, was also awarded the Grammy Award. The audio version of Michelle Obama’s book “Becoming” received the “Best Verbal Album” award.

It was also noted that the participants gave political messages on the red carpet before the ceremony. Model and acting Megan Pormer’s dress made from the US and Iranian flags, which says “No to war with Iran”, and the red dress that says ‘Trump 2020’ on the singer and songwriter Joy Villa.
