Saudi Arabia's first "halal nightclub" opens in Jeddah

White Club, one of Dubai’s largest nightclubs, is allegedly preparing to open a branch in Jeddah.

Speaking to the Step Feed website, Serge Trad, Regional Communications Manager of Addmind Hospitality Group, a Dubai-based organization, said the White Club branch in Jeddah will open this week. Addmind Hospitality Group is based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which operates the largest nightclubs in both Dubai and Beirut.

Tony Habri, CEO of the White Club, confirmed the opening of the club. Habri, according to the request of the Saudi Arabian Entertainment Administration established under the vision of 2030, said the newly opened space will be called ”café” or “luxury salon”, not as a nightclub.

The café will be opened on the coast of Jeddah and will host different kinds of music that will appeal to different tastes. Trad, the dance floor, including the world-famous artists will be brought to the club said.

The company’s spokesman, both women and men are expected to serve the club said no alcoholic drinks will be available. The laws of Saudi Arabia do not allow the sale and use of alcoholic products in the country.
