US bans group tours and cruise ships to Cuba

Donald Trump administration, the United States to Cuba group tours and cruise ships to be valid from today announced that the ban.
This is prohibited, except for those who had booked before June 5, Cuba, groups of educational and cultural tours will be ended. Also passenger ships, private yachts and fishing boats are not allowed to stop in Cuba.

The Trump administration has taken back the steps of former President Barack Obama to soften ties with Cuba in 2016.

American officials say this new practice is meant to punish the communist regime in Cuba.

Americans prefer cruise more on their way to Cuba. Between January and April this year, nearly 143,000 Americans traveled to Cuba, while the number of travelers flown was 115,000.

“Cuba supports US rivals”

US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said on Tuesday that “Cuba continues to play a destabilizing role in the Western Hemisphere. It supports US rivals in countries such as Venezuela and Nicaragua.”

“This administration has made a strategic decision to reject the decision to ease sanctions and other restrictions on the Cuban regime, which will prevent the Cuban army, its intelligence and the security forces from passing the US dollar.”
