Partnership between The Sandbox and Ledger for Metaverse

Popular metaverse project The Sandbox (SAND) has announced a new partnership with crypto hardware wallet Ledger. In the post published on the official blog site on March 23, Sandbox stated that Sandbox has partnered with Ledger to offer security integration to its corporate brand partners and to secure investors’ assets in a simple and effective way. In the statement, many items aimed at cross-platform integration and synergy between customers attracted attention.

Within the scope of the established partnership, we will add a Sandbox decentralized application (dApp) to Ledger for Ledger users interested in purchasing land from The Sandbox ecosystem, add a shortcut for Sandbox to Legder’s desktop application Ledger Live, and create a platform to expand the use of Ledger and Sandbox users between applications. Actions such as creating synergy and moving all NFTs from The Sandbox collector wallet to the Ledger wallet were decided.

Sebastien Borget, COO of The Sandbox, stated that they have a long relationship with Ledger and that they are happy to develop the partnership to provide more security to brands entering the metaverse.

Ledger Enterprise President Alex Zinder pointed out the increasing cyber attacks and frauds in the sector and stated that they are proud to ensure that businesses and consumers are safe.

According to Coingecko data, SAND, which has lost 17.3% in value in the last 30 days, has decreased by 1.5% in the last 24 hours and is traded at $ 0.64 as of writing.
