Double Murder movie synopsis. The commissioner Baldassarre Bruno, after the misadventure of having favored the escape of a murderer, pulls away the archive of the “bodies of crime”. Abandoned by his wife Renata, he periodically has his fourteen-year-old son Daniele at home. One day, attracted by shouts while in the usual restaurant for lunch, he rushes to an old Roman palace where he finds the owner, Prince Prospero Dell’Orso, and the electrical engineer Romolo Colasanti electrocuted along the stairs.
In charge of the investigations, Bruno and the assistant Cantalamessa find themselves in front of a series of suspected tenants: Anna Dell’Orso actress wife of the deceased and head of an insurance of 500 million; Henry Hermann writer-writer, Anna’s friend and about to make the film “The Cross and the Swastika”, linked to the prince’s exploits; Alex and ‘Il Debosciato’ linked to the victim by distant relationships.
In the meantime, Baldassarre befriends young Teresa, a feminist, Colasanti’s nephew. With not a little effort and after other deaths, the commissioner will learn that Teresa is in fact the natural daughter of the prince and heir of his substances; and he will arrive just in time to save her from the aggression of the murderer, a ruthless sculptor who in turn lives in the Palazzo Dell’Orso.
