“Justice League” director Zack Snyder said, “If the audience doesn’t like Amber Heard, I don’t know what to say.” Director Zack Snyder says she doesn’t understand the online harassment Amber Heard has faced since her highly publicized court battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp.
“I don’t understand it at all,” Snyder told The Hollywood Reporter. “If the audience doesn’t like her, I don’t know what to say. But even if she wasn’t liked, I would work with her without a second thought.”
Amber Heard appeared in the DC Universe for the first time when Snyder cast her in 2017’s Justice League. Heard, who reprized her role as Mera in 2018’s Aquaman, will appear before the audience once again in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which will be released this December.
Zack Snyder, who also directed 2013’s Man of Steel and 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, added that he has no plans to return to DC in the future.
