Semi-durable notebooks with a slim and lightweight case are aimed at increasing the flexibility and productivity of the employees as well as the return of their investments as soon as possible.
Panasonic Toughbook 55 clamshell notebooks allow users to easily add a smart card reader, extra storage space or a DVD or Blu-Ray drive in addition to enhancing graphics capabilities. All new add-ons are made with Toughbook Universal Login. In addition, the front of the device can be equipped with a fingerprint reader, RFID tag reader, smart card reader or a second battery port.
When the Toughbook 55 is purchased, users can customize the 3 additional ports with one of the VGA, True Serial and USB ports using the expansion slots. Options include 4th Generation USB and 2nd Generation GLAN (Gigabit LAN) or Durable USB 2.0.
Toughbook 55, the new generation of Toughbook 54, which has achieved great success, is now more flexible, fast, durable, secure and long lasting than Toughbook 54.
