How about making your own homemade sushi?

Sushi is arguably the most popular Japanese food in the world. Although it intimidates most lovers, it is very simple to make at home. Let’s make the most preferred sushi rolls such as Maki, Nigiri, Sake, Ebi and Unagi together.

Materials

• 2 cup sushi rice
• 2.5 cups of water
• 1 cup of rice vinegar
• ½ tea cup white granulated sugar
• ¼ cup of salt
• 8-10 leaves of sushi algae

Internal materials

• 1 mature avocado
• 4-5 branch green onions
• 2 tablespoons labne cheese
• 2 leaves smoked salmon
• 1 thin slice of salmon fillet
• 2 pieces of crab surimi

For the above

• 1 thin slice of salmon fillet
• 8-10 pieces of shrimp
• 1 thin slice of smoked eel
• 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

For service

• Soy sauce
• Wasabi

How to prepare

1-Wash the rice 4-5 times to remove starch.
2-Put the rice into the pot and cook in Arçelik Grion Cooker on high heat until boiling with 2.5 cups of water. After boiling, close the lid and cut the bottom cook for 10 minutes.
After 3-10 minutes, remove the pot from the stove and let it rest.
4-Mix rice vinegar, sugar and salt in a separate coffee pot. Homogenize on low heat.
5- Then add the mixture of vinegar to the rested rice gradually and mix the rice with a wooden spatula and let it cool.
6-For the internal materials, remove the core of the avocado, peel the shell. Chop longitudinally into 5-6 millimeter strips.
7-Chop the salmon fillet into thin long strips with a diameter of 7-8 millimeters.
8-Thin the crab surimi sticks by dividing them in two lengths.
9-Cool the sushi algae with the bright part below.
10-Place avocado, salmon fillet and labne cheese in the middle. Wrap tightly with the help of sushi mat.
11-Black wrap in the form of the piece you wrap aside.
12-Wet your hands on the mat and take a handful of rice evenly spread.
13-Put the mossy roll in the middle of the rice and wrap it firmly with sushi mat.
14-Then cool the smoked salmon on the mat and put the prepared roll on it, wrap tightly with the mat.
15-Take your sushi on a chopping board and slice it carefully by moving it back and forth in parallel with a sharp knife. You should clean the knife with a wet towel before each slice. If you try to slic them with a dry or rice knife, the sushi may break up.

16-For another kind of sushi, lightly moisten your hand with water and take some of the sushi rice and roll in your hand.
Place 17-1 slices of finely cut salmon fillet in the palm of your hand and press the rolled rice ball on the middle of the salmon slice and spread.
18-Then turn over the sushi you prepared and press 1-2 times from the sides to fix the shape.
19-Repeat the same procedure for smoked eel and shrimp.
20-After making your sushi with snake fish, wrap the sushi algae cut in the middle and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
21- You can serve sushi with soy sauce and wasabi.
22-Enjoy your meal!
