Van Gogh's ‘suicide weapon‘ sold at auction for 162,500 euros

Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh’s suicide weapon, thought to be used in the French capital of Paris, held by the “Art Auction” for 162.500 euros.

According to the BBC, the Lefaucheux brand gun, a collector participating in the auction by phone by paying three times the price of the projected announced that the collector.

The gun was found by a farmer in Auvers-sur-Oise, Paris, where Van Gogh spent his last days in 1965, 75 years after the famous painter’s suicide in 1890.
