Aimee Teegarden was listed as Variety’s “Tyro Tipped for Takeoff” in its year-end “Youth Impact Report.” It’s no wonder, as Teegarden has been on a hot streak.
Her recent credits include the forthcoming war drama AWOL, opposite Liam Hemsworth; the teen dramedy Prom, with Thomas McDonell; the horror sequel Scream 4, alongside Neve Campbell; and the Spike Lee-produced indie The Perfect Age of Rock ‘n’ Roll, with Kevin Zegers and Jason Ritter. She was also seen in the thriller For Sale by Owner, with Skeet Ulrich and Rachel Nichols, and the family drama Call of the Wild, with Christopher Lloyd.
On television, Teegarden portrayed Julie Taylor for five seasons on NBC’s Emmy-nominated drama “Friday Night Lights.” Other small-screen credits include the recurring role of Rhonda Kimble on “90210” as well as guest appearances on “Cold Case,” “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide” and “Hannah Montana.”
In the New Media realm, Teegarden starred in the web series “Aim High” opposite Jackson Rathbone. The combined webisodes were released as the first “social media film” on Facebook.
Born and raised in Southern California, Teegarden began modeling and acting at the age of 10. Since then, she has modeled for campaigns including Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Alltel and Hollister. She was the 2008 national spokesmodel for YMI Jeans and appeared on the cover of the Cosmo Girl Prom Issue.
Teegarden’s first producing venture, Beautiful Wave, is a coming-of-age film set in the surf community of Southern California. Teegarden stars in the film opposite Lance Henriksen, Helen Slater and Bart Johnson.
When she isn’t acting or modeling, Teegarden enjoys surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, boxing and hanging out with the love of her life, her dog Gizmo.
