Weight Loss Plateau
'Oh crikey - I have plateaued sooo many times on the way down. Seems like my body "takes a break" at or around each stone off mark (that'll be 5 plateaus, then.) Not sure why - I don't cheat but think it is just body recalibrating itself.
Just got to stick with it, not get discouraged and remember that it will pass. You are bound to have a week (only one? if you are lucky!) where your body refuses to play ball.'
Usually when people plateau it's because the body has gotten use of the routine. Try changing up your exercises a little bit. Maybe one week do one set of exercises, the next week do a different set. Try that for a couple of weeks and see how it works.

Have you been measuring yourself as well as weighing? You may have burned fat and lost inches but gained muscle which weighs more than fat. If working out a lot I would recommend measuring yourself as well as weighing as a means of tracking your progress.
Are you recording the exercise that you do and eating the calories earned? We recommend that you eat your full quota plus at least half of your exercise calories to ensure that you are receiving enough energy to keep your metabolism running efficiently.
It is possible that you have hit a bit of a weight loss plateau and may need to give your metabolism a bit of a kick start.
People can plateau at different times for all sorts of reasons even though they are doing everything correctly for weight loss. Plateau's are the worst, but I find that once you start the ball rolling, it tends to keep going. Keep it up petal, its going to be so worth it. I know how you feel about being impatient, don't feel demoralized and think of how much slimmer you'll be.
Try not to get de-motivated - it will suddenly change and you will get the results.
