Notting Hill is one of the picturesque areas of London with an interesting history. Paved pavements, rich Victorian mansions, beautiful colorful houses, trendy shops and antique dealers – this area is immediately remembered, and I want to return here. Living here is expensive, and only respectable people can afford it. As well as artists and other representatives of highly paid creative professions.

Notting Hill, Covent Garden and beyond
Let’s go to Notting Hill, the quaint district of London; The colorful houses that resemble cotton candy lined up admire them. Portobello Road Market, set up on Saturdays, is also located in Notting Hill! In this colorful market where hundreds of antique products are sold, there are also appetizing stalls where you can taste street flavors. We also loved Churchill Arms, which we did not visit without visiting this area. This pub, which has a wonderful view as well as outside, hosts a classic English bar and a very delicious Thai Restaurant.
London: Not European, not American; very different from both
As someone who has traveled quite a lot of countries, I could not create an opportunity to go to London, or rather, to England. The only common comment from everyone; “You will definitely love London, it’s a city for you!” It was. Now I understand that my loved ones know me very well! London has left my memories a joy like that first chocolate left in the mouth. I know that the continuation will come soon.
One day at Wimbledon, full of surprises
Hundreds of thousands of tourists came to London for the Wimbledon Tennis tournament. The most exciting days of the tournament, which will last two weeks. Domestic and foreign tourists who come to visit London do not return to Wimbledon to be part of an unforgettable organization, not just tennis. It doesn’t have to be your ticket to the matches to experience the enthusiasm of Wimbledon and meet famous star athletes. You are not late to join the enthusiasm and experience unforgettable moments.
Visiting The British Museum
In this massive building on Great Russell Street (the nearest tube station is Holborn), Britain preserves and displays its most awesome State documents and manuscripts: the original Magna Charta, the log-book of Admiral Nelson and his half-finished letter to Lady Hamilton, written just before he died; the first draft of the dreaminspired “Xanadu” by Samuel Coleridge; a deed to William Shakespeare; a host of other papers that will send chills up your spine. And here, too, is kept the plunder of Britain’s Imperial era: the famous Rosetta stone, the smaIl Sphinxes of Egypt, the stunning Elgin Marbles from the front of the Parthenon.
