Some Like It Hot movie storyline. Born in 1926 under the name Norma Jeane Mortenson, the actress died and became one of the most memorable names in Hollywood cinema. Throughout his career, he has talked about sensational life and forbidden relationships more than his films. This young woman with starlight has also made a reputation as a sex object in American cinema. Marilyn made a glorious comeback in 1959 with Arth Some Like It Hot, ine a short-term break from her marriage to Arthur Miller. During the bumpy days of his career, this comedy would do him some good.
Marilyn Monroe’s Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon are directed by Billy Wilder. Two friends, a tavern / bar musician, inadvertently witness the murder of Spats Colombo, the notorious name of the underworld, a good Al Capone imitation, and disguised as women to join in the girls’ orchestra.
Sugar (Monroe), the lead singer of the band they joined, was so naive and well-intentioned that it was always a matter of trouble, so things never went wrong and deceived in love. The saxophonist and contrabassist, formerly Joe and Jerry, the new names Josephine and Daphne, become Sugar’s best friends. The group on their way to Florida is a new chance for Sugar and is determined to find one of the wealthy and handsome businessmen on vacation and convince him to marry.
Marilyn Monroe returned to the cinema after a short break due to the lessons she had learned from director Lee Strasberg at the Actor’s Studio in New York and her marriage to Arthur Miller. His talent in comedy and the screenplay’s success made him one of the most talked about stars in the year, even though he appeared in only one film. Besides her childlike innocence, being a desirable sexy woman was her greatest privilege. Nevertheless, the troubles and rumors experienced throughout the set did not give up. Marilyn was pregnant throughout the film and became increasingly cumbersome, making it difficult. However, the shooting was completed successfully.
The film has been nominated for six Oscars in total and won the Kost Best Costume Design ”award. On the other hand, when Jerry Lewis is offered the first name for the role of Jerry, Lewis rejects the proposal by stating that he cannot accept to be disguised as a woman. He later admitted that he regretted the fact that Jack Lemmon accepted the role and was nominated for an Oscar.
Cleverly written jokes throughout the film (especially about Shell gas stations and men’s troubles in the guise of women) make them laugh. Although the script does not require much effort, all actors do their best to present a unique example of comedy. Some of them like Hot Loves Broadway adaptations, except Italy, France after our country in our country with our own actresses were withdrawn.
Turning to the question I asked at the beginning, I can clearly say that some of them like Hot, although I can’t say that’s exactly what makes Marilyn so popular. If you haven’t seen the movie which has always been in the first place in the lists like the best comedy films prepared by different organizations, I recommend you to watch it without losing time.
