Parker Posey (Judy Webb), named "Queen of Indies" by Time Magazine, has appeared in over 30 films in the last 7 years including The House of Yes (Special Jury Prize 1997 Sundance Film Festival, directed by Mark Waters), SubUrbia (directed by Richard Linklater), Waiting For Guffman (directed by Christopher Guest), The Daytrippers (directed by Greg Mottola), Party Girl (directed by Daisy Von Sherler Mayer), Sleep With Me (directed by Rory Kelly), Dazed and Confused (directed by Richard Linklater), The Misadventures of Margaret (directed by Brian Skeet), Clockwatchers (directed by Jill Sprecher), You've Got Mail (directed by Nora Ephron), and three films for Hal Hartley; Amateur , Flirt , and Henry Fool.
Parker was most recently seen on the big screen reuniting with her Waiting For Guffman team in Christopher Guest's Best of Show, which is about the world of dog shows; Scream 3 (directed by Wes Craven); as well as Anniversary Party (directed by Jennifer Jason Leigh and Alan Cumming) and Josie and the Pussycats (directed by Harry Elfont and Deborah Kaplan).
Parker has also appeared in all three installments of Armistad Maupin's Tales of The City trilogy. She starred in the Los Angeles premiere of John Patrick Shanley's "Four Dogs and a Bone" and this spring made her Broadway debut starring opposite Matthew Broderick in Elaine May's "Taller Than a Dwarf."
