Cameron Diaz made her feature film debut at age 21, captivating moviegoers as the femme fatale in one of Jim Carrey's biggest hits, "The Mask." She followed up her debut with a small, independent feature, "The Last Supper" and then appeared in Steven Baigelman's offbeat love story, "Feeling Minnesota," in which she co-starred with Keanu Reeves and Vincent D'Onofrio. Cameron next appeared in Edward Burns' "She's the One," and then co-starred with Harvey Keitel and Craig Sheffer in "Head Above Water." In 1996, Cameron was named ShoWest's Female Star of Tomorrow by the National Association of Theater Owners. Her next film, "My Best Friend's Wedding" became one of the biggest hits of 1997, and her performance earned her the Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Supporting Actress in a comedy. In "A Life Less Ordinary," directed by Danny Boyle ("Trainspotting"), Cameron co-starred opposite Ewan MacGregor. For her performance in the Peter and Bobby Farrelly blockbuster romantic comedy "There's Something About Mary," Cameron was named Best Actress of the Year by the New York Film Critics' Circle. Her performance also earned her a Golden Globe nomination, the Blockbuster Entertainment Award as 'Favorite Movie Actress,' the Netherlands Rembrandt Award and the MTV Movie Award for Best Female Performance. Following the dark comedy "Very Bad Things," Cameron co-starred opposite John Cusack, Catherine Keener and John Malkovich in Spike Jones's critically acclaimed film "Being John Malkovich." She was nominated for a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a British Film Academy (BAFTA) Award for her performance. Cameron was also seen co-starring opposite Al Pacino in Oliver Stone's "Any Given Sunday," and appeared in one of the biggest hits of 2001, "Charlie's Angels," co-starring with Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu.
