The most popular and economic routes abroad are the Balkan countries. This text; For those who want to stroll in the Başçarşı in Bosnia and Herzegovina, witness the entertainment and gastronomic experiences in Belgrade, and those who love the sea…

Let’s take a look at the Balkan countries one by one and take a closer look at what is happening there. This is Belgrade, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo and Albania.

We didn’t satisfied with Belgrade

Whenever there is a conversation about Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, I first speak of “I will not be satisfied with Belgrade.” Exquisite meat dishes, night life, cheese varieties and museums. . You can also examine the works of important artists such as Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso, Cezanne and Motisse in this museum. Let’s come to the city’s airport, which also gives its name to the museum of Tesla. First you watch a short video about Tesla’s life. Then you closely examine their inventions.

One of the most important buildings of the city is the Saint Cathedral. The construction of the cathedral began in 1935 and was suspended during World War II. One of the first stops of tourists visiting Belgrade is undoubtedly the Belgrade Fortress, or Kalemegdan. It is located at the top of the point where the Danube and Sava rivers meet. One of the gates entered Kalemegdan is called Stambol Kapija, or Istanbul Gate. Here you can come across the Turks who take photos almost every day of the year.

Albania: The country of eagles

Albania is both a Balkan country and a Mediterranean country. Also known as the land of eagles. For those who do not know, let me briefly summarize the legend and where the name of Albania comes from… A young boy goes hunting in the mountains of Albania. A big eagle flies over it, leaving the dead chest in its claw and the snake in its nest and flying again. The young snake is rescuing the young, while the living snake will kill the eagle’s young. In return, the great eagle grants him speed and sharp gaze.

Over time, people choose this young man as king. It is called Albania’s son, which means ‘son of an eagle’ and ‘eagles’ country’. That’s where the double-headed eagle stands on its flag. Tirana, the Albanian capital, is a must-see. My personal favorite is Durres, a seaside town. But first let me list the places you should see in Tirana. In the center of the city is the statue of Alexander the national heroes. There are Clock Tower and Ethem Bey Mosque in the side streets. Museums are the easiest way to understand the history of the country. Opened in 1981, the National History Museum is the largest and most important museum in the country. You can also see the replica of Alexander the Great’s sword in this museum.

Durres: A full resort city

Durres is a particularly yideal resort. Apart from sea, sand and sun, there are many historical buildings. Such as Durres Castle, Ancient Theater, King Zog’s Palace… Albanian and food comes to mind immediately when you think of Albanian gras? Taste the version prepared with tomato sauce. The name of the dish is fergese. And certainly much more famous and delicious.

Bosnia and Herzegovina: An outdoor museum

Let’s come to the country of my ancestors… Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina… Both my grandfather and grandmother on the side of Sarajevo… Both hearts and architecture touches the heart of Sarajevo with a meal and heart. Ferhadija is the largest and most popular street in the city. Besides, there is a bazaar at the end of this street. Başçarşı, also referred to as the Ottoman Bazaar.

As a result of the fire in the late 1800s, it shrank a little. Food shops and souvenir shops are located here. The Tunnel of Hope is also a must-see. A place that personally bows my feathers. This place was used for food, medicine, ammunition and wounded transport during wartime. Among the places you should visit in Başçarşı are Morica Han Gazi Hüsrev Bey Mosque.

What to eat

Meatballs are the most important dishes to be tasted in Sarajevo. The correct address for this is Cevabdzinicica Zeljo. Soup is a must, of course. Begova soup prepared with potato, carrot, peas and gumbo and made with chicken broth is one of the tastes that are both light and must be tasted.

One of the meatballs consumed other than the answer is pljeskavica. These meatballs, prepared with armor or knife ground beef, onions and salt, are prepared like huge hamburger patties. The result? Delicious. Bosnian pastry is one of the tastes that must be tasted. My favorite is the leek. But you may not find it anywhere. Buregdzinica Sac near Başçarşı is also a favorite of locals.
